Luffy woke up early in the next morning and started his daily training.

After finishing his daily routine, he went to grab a nice breakfast with Kaya. When they were having their breakfast, Luffy found out that Reiju was not coming down.

So After bidding farewell, Luffy left Baratie and started sailing away.

Kaya sighed while looking at the depressed Luffy. But against her will she also felt somewhat bitter inside.

Kaya spent these three days with Reiju, so she obviously became fond of her presence around her.

Technically Reiju was the second outsider who she thought of her friend after Luffy.

Luffy was sitting on the mermaid figurehead while thinking of these past days. He was full of confidence when he thought of recruiting Reiju but reality gave him a tight slap.

' Seems like it's not like a harem anime, but real life. But the feeling of falling from the heaven to the eight layer of hell was really painful. '

But Luffy's depressing thoughts were vanished as soon as he sensed a very familiar presence was approaching them in a breakneck speed.

This person was definitely Reiju who was currently wearing a pink one piece and a luggage behind her. When she landed on the deck, she first placed her luggage then nodded towards the dumbfounded Kaya. But the next moment she vanished from her spot and arrived in front of Luffy.

She gave a tight slap on his face and then hugged him tightly while sobbing. Luffy was surprised by this sudden turn of events, but didn't resist her hug and just enjoyed her proud peak.

When Kaya saw Luffy's lecherous smile she didn't waste any moment and forcibly separated them.

The result was Reiju blushing like a shy maiden while Luffy grinned like he won a golden medal 🏅 in Olympics.

" Hey don't start flirting in front of me. " Kaya reprimanded them. But Luffy was in his own world so he said in a annoyed voice, " Then why don't you face away. " He earned a combined glare from both Reiju and Kaya.

Thinking of his previous slip of tongue, he started whistling while looking sidewise. Both girls looked at eachother and sighed in annoyance.

" So Reiju why did you change your mind. " Luffy asked the question he was most curious about. Hearing his question Kaya also started listening to their conversation.

Reiju just started twisting his ears in answer.

So Luffy immediately got his answer. Kaya just blankly look at both of them after realising.

After venting her anger Reiju let him go.

" But Luffy, your ship is really the most beautiful ship i have ever seen. But where did you dock your ship these past days. " asked Reiju as she had never seen this large ship.

" Oh actually i can store this ship in a pocket dimension. " said Luffy casually but Reiju was very surprised by this fact.

She looked at Luffy who had returned to his position ( means on the mermaid statue ) with a unknown glint in her eyes.

She felt the more she spends time with him, the more mysterious he became. His wierd but beautiful sword, his abnormal powers and everything around him was like a dream for her in the past.

" So scoundrel, what is our next destination? " asked Kaya with some expectations, Reiju also paid attention.

" We are going to the Shells Town, for recruiting our next crew member. " said Luffy while enjoying the sea breeze.

Kaya and Reiju left him alone went in their separate ways. Luffy also became busy in talking with Jasmine.

' Jasmine, recommend a good Devil Fruit for me. '

Luffy didn't waste any time and took a bite. As it was a True Devil Fruit, it was very tasty. So he ate the whole fruit.

A massive surge of information started invading inside his mind. After a while when the after effects were gone, Luffy grinned like a madman.

He started playing with his new Devil Fruit powers for a while until he felt satisfied.

Luffy felt really worried about his Dragon Potency bar's growth rate. At this rate he had to go to the Calm Belt in order to fill his Dragon Potency.

Luffy stopped thinking and took out his phone and headphones 🎧 and started enjoying his playlist while looking at the distance sea.

He also bought a pizza from the store and just quietly enjoyed the journey.

The next day while traveling Luffy suddenly saw a unexpected person shouting for help. It was a girl with slim figure and average height with orange hair and brown eyes.

She had a orange mini-skirt with two white rings on each side filled in with orange or brown in their centers and shirts with short sleeves. She also had short hair with a particularly curled strand over the left side of her face.

She was shouting for help, so Luffy sensed a hole in her small boat which was slowly filling up her boat. So when she saw a large ship heading in her way she shouted for help.

This belle was the infamous Cat Burglar Nami. But Luffy had never thought of meeting her in such a unexpected manner.
