Virion pov)
As I was busy looking at my granddaughter who has been a sleep for the past two days. I let out a heavy sigh
'Her body is still in mana core strengthen state, but it seems like hers is taking too long'
"Please wake up soon. I just want to praise you for reaching a silver core stage"
A small smile appeared on my face as I said that, but the smile on my face was suddenly replaced by a serious one the moment the whole infirmary started shaking.
"What's going on?"
As if to answer my question. A nurse opened the door to the room where me and Tess were in.
"What's going on outside?" I asked the nurse, who shrunk in fear due to my serious face and voice.
"There's a fight going on in the Adventurer guild. By the looks of it, it seems like someone is attacking there" Said the nurse.
'Mm. Then I'm sure it will be over,' I reassure myself as he ignored the news.
After a few seconds of quietness. I saw the Nurse looking at me awkwardly, as if waiting to be asked.
"Did you come to check her condition?"
The nurse seem relieved by chance of matter. With a nod, she looked at the papers she was carrying.
"The Princess's condition is better now, all she needs is a good sleep to let her body relax"
I just nodded my head and allow her to leave.
'Mm, I haven't seen Madara this whole day. It's not like him to not come and check us up '
As I was lost in my train of thoughts. The door was burst opened.
"You idiots!! Can't you knock for…oh, Goodsky?!" My temper came down the moment I saw who opened the door.
"Virion, I think your presence might be needed for this matter" She said with a straight face.
'Must be something serious '
"Does it have something to do with the attack of the Adventurer guild?" I asked her.
"Yes… It's Madara"
I felt like my heart skipped a beat for a second.
"What about Madara??" I was getting an idea, but I had to ask.
"There's no time to explain for now. I'll tell you everything on the way. So please, I need your company for this".
'What is she talking about? And why am I getting this uneasy feeling?' I thought to myself while looking at my skin. Goosebumps.
I looked at Tess, who was laying on the bed. Slowly, I started taking the drip off her and carried her.
"What are you doing, Virion? We need to go now" Said Goodsky.
"I'm sending Tess back to Eleanor. We'll use the portal that's near the academy to get her there" I said as I walked out of the room. Goodsky was about to say something, but she stopped her mouth and led the way with fast-paced steps.
Outside the infirmary were four elves who were the Knights that I came with.
"Follow me"
"Mm" The knights nodded their heads and started following me.
Soon, we were standing in front of a portal that was just a few meters away from the academy.
I handed the sleeping Tess to the Head Knights and gave him a serious touch on his shoulder.
"Your lives rest on this girl's state. Make sure you get her parents"
The knights gulp like crazy as I let them walked inside the portal.
Seeing that they'll walk inside the portal. I turned to look at Goodsky who seem like she was about to explode any second due to how impatient she looked.
"Let's go"
Soon, the two of us were inside the carriage heading towards the Adventurer guild
"So, that's what you did?" I asked Goodsky who just finished telling me everything about the situation that was going on.
"I know I'm not the only who had that hunch, Virion. You also know that Madara is still a mystery to use no matter what".
She was right in every way. No matter how you looked at it, Madara is still a vault with full of secrets inside it.
Suddenly, the carriage we were in halted.
"What's wrong? Why aren't we moving" Goodsky asked the driver.
"It seems like we can't pass here. There are city guards and adventurer in front of us blocking the way" Answered the driver.
Goodsky didn't want to ask why. She opened the carriage door and walked out with me following behind her.
My eyes widen as I looked at the massive damage that was in front of me.
Goodsky just walked towards the city guards with her serious face that was very intimidating.
"Director Goodsky!!?" Said the Guards and adventurers while looking at her. She's quite famous.
"Why are you blocking the way?"
"It's an order from the Lance" Answer the guard.
I saw Goodsky's expression changed from serious to worried one.
Stepping forward. I walked past the guards without problems, since they made a way for me.
'A familiar mana presence '
My eyes shifted to the west direction, where I was sensing the very familiar mana.
"Goodsky, come with me"
I started walking towards that direction while looking at the surrounding damage.
"Where's Madara?"
My eyes widen in shock, not from what Goodsky said, but it was from the scene in front of me.
A familiar girl was laying on the bloody ground. Beside her were three healers that were healing her lower body. Not far from the trio was another familiar girl who seem to be guarding them.
"Alea!?" I shouted as I dashed towards them.
Aya looked at me and bow down a little as she spoke.
"Lord Virion, Director Goodsky. I don't think it's very safe for you guys to be here"
"What happened to her? Who did this to her" I asked as I watched Alea who was slowly regaining her conscious.
"We found her in this condition,, and we're still not sure who is the real attacker that did this to her. But right now the other Lances are fighting the only person who we found near Alea"
'A Lance reduced to this state? And four Lances fighting a single person? Who are they fighting '
"Madara!? Where' Madara"
"Who?" Said the Lance who clearly didn't understand who is this Madara I'm speaking of.
"V-Virion…"
The voice came from behind me. I turned around and saw Goodsky looking up.
The shadow…the thing that blocked the moon was something that I never thought I would see in all my life.
The bloodlust…the killing intent…the feeling of death.
It was the feeling of…DESPAIR.
My legs. No, my entire body lost the power to stand up and went down on the ground. It wasn't just me, even Aya, Goodsky and the healer, all dropped.
The feeling, no. The pressure was unbearable.
'What is that behemoth?'
I forced myself to look at it, and that's where I saw something else moving behind the behemoth.

'Nine tails!!?'
"Th.that's looks like Madara's bond" Said Goodsky who was clearly forcing herself to talk.
The beast raised its head up high and let out a roar that felt like it shattered my core into pieces.
I felt helpless. I felt weak. I felt despair.

The whole Xyrus city's people were laying down while holding their chests and heads in pain.
The pressure that Kurama was releasing was something that no one was able to withstand it. It was a very definition of a beast.
Madara who was sitting on top of Kurama, looked at the Lances who were now laying on the ground while trying their best to look at him and Kurama.
Standing with its two legs. Kurama was 400 meters tall. He was a walking calamity that was ready to bring disasters to the world.
(AN: YES,I decided to give him the height)
Suddenly, Madara stood up and slowly started descending to the ground. His red eyes were glowing with power and authority. They were a real proof of the eyes of domination.
"So, are you guys ready to listen to me?" Asked Madara who was standing in front of the four Lances.
"I'm not the bad guy here, but I can be one if you guys force me to be. If I was really the one that hurt your friend. Then I would have killed you long time. I hope you understand the situation you're in" Madara continued talking while circling them around ." Maybe you should ask her once she wakes up".
'Just who is this person?? The power he displayed to us is above the Lances level. Not to mention that thing…I guess we don't have any choice '
"F-fine. We'll listen to you" Said Varay.
The other Lances let out shocked gasps when they heard her, but they soon understand the situation they were in. They were nothing, they were like bugs that can be smashed by Madara's foot.
They dropped their heads on the ground while biting their lips in defeated and disappointment.
~That's enough Kurama ~
~Yes, but it was a good harvest ~ Replied Kurama as he started transforming back to his small form and landed beside Madara.
The pressure that was pining everyone to the ground disappeared, but not the feeling of despair.
The first to stood up was Varay, followed by Olfred and the other two.
"Who really are you??"
Before Madara could respond to Varay's question. He saw another figure flying towards them.
It was Aya. She was also carrying two other people.
"Varay!!?" Shouted Aya as she landed the two people and dashed towards Madara, but suddenly, she was covered by an ice coffin.
"Don't be rush Aya" Said Varay as she melted the ice coffin.
"Madara!!"
Madara looked at the person who called him and saw Virion with Director Goodsky beside him.
"What happened? Where is Kaspian? Are you the one who did hurt that Lance? Was that your bond? Why are you doing this?" A barrage of questions were coming out of Director Goodsky's mouth as tried her best to hide her worried expression.
"It's a long story, but I'll…" Madara had to stop midway and turned around to look at the sky. Everyone followed the direction where he was looking and saw two figures levitating in the sky.
The one that stand out the most was an elderly looking guy with three eyes. The eye on his forehead was glowing in purple.
'Oh, it's the one Rinnegan eye rip off guy'

IT'S MY BIRTHDAY. IT'S MY FUCKING BIRTHDAY. LET'S FUCKING GOOOOOOOOOOOOO
I'm really getting old. I can't believe I just gained another year in this fucked up world, where looks, height and money matter the most. But, hey! I'm glad I'm alive to see this day.
This world is dark. Our real reality is darker than the black hole, but everyday we lied to ourselves by smiling and acting like we are fine and all. In truth, we are living time bombs that can go kaboom any time. But, even after all of these, we still act fine and let the inevitable marching of time led to our death.
Remember to use the time you have to create more memories with your family, friends and love ones before the time ends. Be happy, embarked those good memories and feelings to your heart. Because those people are the one who made who you are today .
