Madam Lu

Suddenly a pair of steps were heard in the stables and disrupted Jo's thoughts. She lifted her head and their eyes met. Jo's reaction was to quickly hide, so she crouched down and hid behind the horse. "Fudge!! He already saw me, why did I hide?!" Jo whispered to her self, ah... what a cringe reaction. In the mean time, the man bent down as well, wanting to make eye contact with her, from the other side of the horse. "What are you doing?" Jo's face instantly turned red. "Ummm... I dropped the brush... you are home early!" Jo managed to pull her self out of that cringe situation. Lu Ye Ze, chuckled lightly "Haha ha..." He hadn't finished teasing her yet, so he added. "I missed you!"

Silence Her

The previous day, Jo had just arrived at Phoenix Estate. It was noon, so after the couple had their lunch and showered, Lu Ye Ze went to the study to deal with some urgent business, while Jo was in his bedroom - now their bedroom - unpacking her luggage.

While she was pulling the drawer of the large dresser out, to put her clothes in, she suddenly remembered about something. Jo dropped everything on the floor and dashed towards her previous bedroom. When she entered the room, a fresh smell of flowers mixed with cleaning products, was floating in the air. Like the room, it had just been cleaned. Jo looked around carefully inspecting the room, there was no dust on the furniture and everything was placed back neatly, not at all how she left it.

Before when she had gained the reins of the house, due to that particular object, Jo had requested the staff to not enter her room. The access to the guest bedroom on the second floor, was completely forbidden.

A feeling of anxiety rose in her stomach. She approached slowly the dresser and pulled the third drawer down, from the left side row. She palpated the bottom of it, but she couldn't feel anything. As she expected. Someone has found the letter.

Jo pulled the drawer out, just to be sure and inspected it properly, she checked the other drawers as well. Nothing.

Downstairs in the staff room, Ling Yi was frantically stuffing her essential belongings in a backpack, when a knock was heard at the door.

The person who was outside, didn't wait for Ling Yi to answer the door and just barged in. It was one of the estate's security guard.

"Follow me!" He said.

Ling Yi's heart almost stopped beating. She looked at the tall muscular man and squeezed her fists tightly, her nails tugging into her palms. She didn't expect Master to come back from Europe together with Lu Ri-El, today. Their arrival was scheduled for the day after tomorrow, but when she saw them at the door, she'd almost had a heart attack. Ling Yi knew she had to run away as soon as possible, but unfortunately she didn't had enough time.

When she arrived in Jo's bedroom, the other maid was already there accompanied by another security guard.

Jo looked at the other maid who just arrived and saw that she had averted her gaze. There was no doubt that she was the one that took the letter.

"I have been told, that the two of you have entered my room yesterday. There is one missing object, who was the one that took it?" Asked Jo calmly and with a straight face.

The girls looked at each other.

"An object? What object?" Asked Ling Yi.

Ling Yi displayed an innocent look on her face, she looked at Jo with confusion, but what she saw in her eyes frightened her.

In Jo's eyes there was a sinister darkness, the room temperature dropped drastically, that even the security guards were starting to shiver. Jo looked at that maid like she was her biggest enemy and it felt like she was suckling the life out of her just with her eyes.

The other maid was trembling uncontrollably, her words got stuck in her throat and she was close to loosing her consciousness. They all knew what happened to Ming Sha, she was slaughtered coldly by this creature that rose from her death bed and walked to be the head of the house, overturning even the most powerful man in China.

Jo didn't want to lose any time with these maids so she ordered. "Silence her!" Pointing her hand towards Ling Yi, then she left the room.

Jo went to the staff quarters and entered Ling Yi's room. She saw a backpack on her bed. Jo picked it bottom up and shook it gently. All of Ling Yi's belongings fell off on the bed. Jo searched all the pockets and shortly found the letter.
