I was wondering if it was real,what was! said Lydia,I was standing looking at many faces watching me as though I was some celebrity.

I was in my dream though,and I was singing one of the songs which I wrote last week .

I want to make faces and mistakes with you baby. That song which I've never sang for no one .

My name is lysa I'm sixteen years old and I want to be a singer,but it seems this dream will never be attained.

I've got three sisters Ella,anna and nora and an elder brother Gabriel ,a father and mother.I live with a mother who wants me to be a doctor or a nurse.Hey lysa,said my mother,Yes Mom?How about writing the entrance exams so you could get into a good school to study nursing or medicine, hmmm sure ok,I replied.

It was all a lie!!!!.A big white lie which I made up for everyone to believe.i had no intention of studying any course of my parents especially my mom's choice.

Next day in school...

Welcome to sacred heart high school I saw the sign boldly written on the board.lysa lysa lysa ,I heard Lydia calling, yes?I tilted my head answering.

What's wrong she asked?no.. nothing's wrong, why did you ask?No.. nothing she replied looking lost in thought.

Emmm I learnt a new Korean word, what is it I asked smiling "salangheyo"(I love you) "bo"(what) I answered laughing. Let's go or we'll be late for the morning assembly, I said and walked hurriedly.ok,she said.we ran quickly to the auditorium and sat down. Its so noisy, said lydia. Yeah,I replied looking around.The principal walked in and student ran back to their various seats.Standing at the podium the principal opened her mouth and arranged her glasses and started,It's my rear honour to congratulate the student in their sophomore year for winning the 20th edition of the essay writing contest.I'm so proud indeed,the principal said smiling,so congratulations to our pride who have invested so much time and effort into the development and honour unlike a particular grade who would do their best to tarnish the school's name,ha ha ha ha ha .... We the 10th grade student in question laughed hard I could actually say we were really different from any normal student.Congratulations on fighting your homeroom teacher, you've done a great job,she said.we are not all to be blamed ma,came a voice from the back row, it was Theodora from class silver.Oh well don't be so sure of your offence,the principal replied sharply. Now did you or did you not cheer them on,asked the principal,looking sharply.No ma, I wasn't in school, actually I was absent from school and only heard that Jane and natasha fought with our homeroom teacher.

Ignoring Theodora,the principal continued,you all from class silver would be receiving your punishments, she said looking around, 2 hours of labour for one week.

That sounds harsh,said lydia.Thank goodness we don't belong to that class,I said.what did you say? are you better than us,a voice said behind us, i turned my head only to see the school bully Clara. Oh no I thought, I'm dead meat,but how come she's a bully she look too beautiful to be one I thought again. Hey shut your mouth you bitch, what?I replied confused. I looked around and realized that I just said my thoughts out loud. No I didn't mean it like that,I said quickly. You bit...,shut that trash you call a mouth,shouted Lydia angrily. She didn't mean it like that,she shouted again. Pahhhg, ahhhh Lydia shouted in pain. I turned around and saw Lydia's cheek all red and swollen. Pahhhg, I slapped Clara. Now gathered around us were students looking and cheering Clara. Feeling embarrassed Clara raised her hand to slap me but was held down by students,feeling frustrated she started cursing, you bitch,you slimy whore, you sly bitch,just let me get you,I'm gonna get you.

Students started running back to their classes, it was the vice principal, oh no I'm dead meat, I thought. You two, shouted the principal, to my office now. Will you be okay,i said. Yeah,let's go together . No, I replied,why,she said looking annoyed,I'm involved already,she continued. I guess she was already involved. We walked and saw Clara looking sharply at us with swollen cheek. I guess I slapped her hard, I thought.

I knocked on the door, come in,came the vice principal's voice.

We went in and stood side by side. Hmm, he scoffed. You've actually really decide to become a nuisance in this school,the I've go no other choice. I looked at him raising my eyebrows, sir what actually do you mean, I asked. You would be handed over to the school disciplinary committee. What!!! We all shouted. Quiet!! He said . Call your parents or guardian over tommorow morning, failure to do that,he stopped talking halfway.

You can go now, he said. You don't want to know the consequences,he said again no staring at Clara intently.

O..oo.k sir, we all said quickly going out.Woah, my aunt's kinda busy lately I hope she would come with me, she said. What about you,she asked looking at my face directly . Oh well, I answered let's see.

Let's go, I said holding her hand. We got to class only to meet anoth commotion. I'm not your mother but as an elder i can actually correct you when you make wrong choices, our English teacher ,mrs Georgina said to Sonia. Sonia was an annoying girl among four us, a group which consisted of Theodora, Sonia, joy, Linda, they were quite annoying,sonia was the worst out of the four girls. I didn't ask for you to lecture me about my own life ma, Sonia snapped rather impolitely.

I guess you want the principal's counseling instead,Mrs Georgina said and walked out heading to the principal's office. So nosy, Sonia remarked.

What happened Lydia asked a fellow classmate, oh i don't know either, he replied.

Gosh seriously, I can't believe I was once friends with them. That's right she was once friends with them but kinda go betrayed.

It's the maths teacher who was also our homeroom teacher Mr Peter.

He walked into the classroom unhurriedly and looked at Sonia sharply. You're quite lucky the principal is not around,he said now looking at everyone. You're gonna be having maths for the rest of the day, he continued. You've caused enough trouble today.

The bearing of... As he explained the question on the white board,I was lost in thought thinking of how to tell my parents that they would have to come with me to school.

The school bell rang.....

Such I short day, I remarked. What!!! It was so long but atlas I'm going home, I need to get some rest, oh I forgot I've got to post a new challenge on tiktok,Lydia kept talking non stop.

My mom's coming in a few days, she said. Lydia's mom stayed ltaly. Wow that's nice get me some great stuff once she's back okay? Hmm she replied.

I'm getting on the bus, I said walking towards the bus. Uhmm lysa!, stopping in my tracks I turned around, yeah? Can I borrow your chemistry notebook, I can't find mine.sure I replied. I got into the bus, luckily I found a seat close to the door. I pressed for the bus to stop.

I got down and looked, walked to the gate and walked in.
