Chapter 35: When His Eyes Opened
Cecilia's POV
"Luna Cecilia, welcome." For the first time since I arrived at Eagle Eyes pack, Adolphus flashed me a happy smile.
Like, I didn't know he could look so handsome and cute when he smiled.
"Thank you." I smirked.
"My Alpha is waiting inside for you." He added after a brief silence, I nodded and went into the room.
Getting into the room that had dim lit bulbs, I approached the bed. Denver was pacing around the room, looking anxious and unsettled.
"Denver." I cleared my throat.
"Oh? You're here?" His eyes widened as he sounded rhetorical, staring at me.
It seemed like he had been waiting for me.
"Yeah. Are you okay?" I asked him after a brief silence.
"Yeah, I was waiting for you." I haven a sigh of relief as he walked over to me.
"Okay, before you start speaking further, drink this." I said, offering him the cup containing the potion that I had come in with.
