Banquet (5)
Dmitri is keeping an eye on the door but Stefan Vronsky still did not arrive. He is becoming impatient by the second. The whole ruse of the banquet has been held for him and if he does not arrive, Dmitri’s plans will fail.
He calls Leo through his mind and within seconds, his knight appears.
“Where is Stefan?” Dmitri asks.
“We are still looking for him, My Lord,” Leo murmurs. “But he is nowhere to be seen.”
Dmitri frowns. Why is Stefan Vronsky skipping out on the banquet? The Ezealyran forces will be furious if they find out if a Duke has been rudely ignored by a knight.
“Find him,” Dmitri orders. “We cannot let him anywhere near the city! If he sees the true state of Sloria, he will alert his masters.”
“Understood.”
