"I'm sorry for making you cry. Forgive me Mara", he said to me the pain was evident in his eyes. But it didn't melt me for once.
" Are you sorry?", I scoffed at him.
"I'm sorry for hurting you. I married her because I had no choice. It was a strategic decision my father needed support and he secured it by making me marry", he said guiltily.
" I don't know what to say, Lucien. I want to say that I forgive you. But I can't it will always be between us. I will never marry you. You can work things out with your wife", I told him.
"Listen to yourself Mara. Why are you asking me to go back to her? You know I don't love her", he told agitatedly.
" You love me then? What's next I will be your second or third wife?", I screamed at him.
