"If you still care for our friendship I don't want you to leave here", she said.
"I don't understand", I said.
"Sheila is upto no good. She doesn't care the child unless she wants to show off to Lucien. You must stay Mara", she said.
"Is she cruel to Lucille?", I asked.
"Not cruel. She is neglectful also there is something", she hesitated.
"What?", I prodded.
"She is bad. Nasty witch", said Riley.
"Witch?", I asked her in disbelief.
"Yes. I'm telling the truth. She does weird things while alone", said Riley.
"What things?", I asked..
"Praying to the pagan gods", she said.
"Pagan gods?", I asked.
"We used to worship them long before. It normally require blood sacrifices. It was outlawed by Lucien's grandfather. She is a witch. She had cast some magic on Lucien", she said.
"That is not possible Riley. She is a lycan. Only witches can perform magic. She is not a witch", I explained to her.
