It felt weird becoming a guild leader of a guild that wasn't my own.
"I will try my best to exceed your expectations, Eiji." I said as I looked at myself throught the mirror.
It also felt weird seeing myself in a different body. Especially since I am a girl, I feel...different. My hair is a different color thany usual self. Instead of seeing brown, I see lavender. Instead of seeing short hair, I see long. I think it may take a while before I get used to being a girl.
"Haruta!" Sakura yelled out from the motel room. "Are you ready to get stronger?"
"Yeah! Just let me get ready in a bit!" I said before putting on my cloak and grabbing my mew staff. With these two items, I know feel like a normal mage.
I ran outside the motel and met up with Sakura. "I'm ready. Where's Yazoyo?"
"He is still getting ready. Can't believe us girls finish getting ready before a guy." Sakura shook her head.
"Well, maybe he is getting his armor ready before we start grinding."
"Maybe." Sakura shrugged.
After a few minutes, Yazoyo headed out the building. "I'm ready now!"
"Alright. Shall we go to the farm town? I heard they have enemies around our level there." I explained.
"That's sounds good. I'm level 8 though." Sakura announced.
"I'm level 20." Yazoyo chimed in.
"Oh. I'm only 10." Now I can see why Eiji lost the duel. He wasn't as strong as Yazoyo. "Shall we go anyway?"
"Sure."
***
"What levels are you guys now?" I asked both Sakura and Yazoyo.
"I'm 22." Sakura informed me.
"25. I think since the levels are so low here, I'm leveling up slowly." Yazoyo scratched his head.
"I'm 24 now, so yeah. The levels here might be too low." I agreed. "Shall we try harder enemies?"
"Sure." Yazoyo nodded his head.
"But before that, shouldn't we check our skill points? I mean, we should probably boost up our sub-classes before going against higher enemies." Sakura suggested.
"Oh, that's true." I opened up my settings and checked my stats. Looking at my skills, I saw that most of my points were into healing. I had a hard time looking at it. I did promise Eiji that I would become a healer for him.
For some reason, I couldn't put my skill points into healing. Instead I decided to put it into dark magic. "Done." I announced.
"What did you put your skill points in?" Sakura asked eagerly.
I glanced over at her and just smiled. "That's a secret."
"Oh." Sakura disheartenedly said.
In Eiji's place, I have to become an offensive leader, not a supportive. For now, I couldn't just put my stats into healing. I need to get stronger.
"I put my stats into blade dance." Yazoyo smiled, trying to break the atmosphere.
"Oh, that's cool. I put my stats into cooking. I hope that will help me make better tasting food." Sakura sighed.
Yazoyo flinched after hearing what she said. "I'm sorry, Sakura. I was just stressed after hearing we weren't able to leave the game until the end of this week. I ended up putting all my anger towards you and your cooking."
"Ah! No, don't worry about it. I am am also stressed too. My mom was going to give birth to my new baby brother on Wednesday, but now I won't be able to go to the hospital with them."
"I'm sorry to hear that. My grandmother at home is all by herself. I'm worried about how she is doing without me."
It was a weird feeling. These guys are more worried about their families than themselves, while I'm here not worrying about anything. When I heard about the announcement of being stuck in the game, I didn't care at all.
"It's nice that you guys care about your families." I told them.
"What about your family?" Sakura asked.
"My family?"
"Yeah."
My family...
