9. Chapter 48: I Was A Teenage Adult Witch

At Hexside, Luz, Amity, Willow, Gus and the rest of their friends were talking about the recent disappearance of Skara.

"So you guys haven't heard anything either?" Luz asked them.

"No, we checked her usual hangouts but no luck," Bo replied.

"The Treasure Shack, the music store, and pretty much anywhere else Skara usually goes," Cat stated.

"Barcus said his sister is using her podcast to spread the word, and my folks have been setting up search parties for her," Jerbo noted while Barcus nodded.

"Skara… where could she be?" Willow asked, looking upset while Luz patted her on the shoulder.

"Don't worry, Willow-Wisp. We'll find her, even Mom and Aunt Lily have been going out to look for any sign of her," Luz assured her friend.

"Yeah, and my dad's using his resources from work as well," Gus added, showing his concern for Willow.

"Thanks guys," Willow replied, appreciating her friend's help. "But another concern is that werewolf you mentioned, Luz."

Luz nodded, giving a sigh. "Aunt Lily said that it shouldn't be possible. The Healing Coven took care of it a long time ago, right?" she asked, looking at the Healing Track students.

"Well yeah, lycanthropy was a big problem way back during the Savage Ages, when Were-Fever was at its heights," Viney stated.

"Our professor taught us that when the Coven System was founded, the Healing Coven developed a vaccine for lycanthropy, which led to the decline of Were-Fever in the Boiling Isles," Cat added.

"I just hope Skara will turn up soon, especially with this werewolf loose in the Isles." Amity admitted.

"Attention students! Please report to the assembly hall at once for a presentation by the Emperor's Coven!" said Bump's voice over the speakers.

"What's this about?" Luz asked as she saw students heading to the hall.

"I think I heard about this," Gus replied. "The Emperor's Coven has been visiting schools around the Isles in order to raise Fae Awareness ever since the Pleasure Island incident."

"Oh," Luz said, as she and Amity looked visibly upset about this, knowing the Emperor's Coven was just using this as a way to spread Anti-Fae Propaganda. "So the assembly probably has nothing to do with the muggings and the kidnappings? Or the werewolf?"

"I'm sure they'll mention it in the assembly," Gus said as he followed the other students toward the assembly hall.

Willow noticed Luz and Amity heading the opposite direction. "Where are you two going?"

"We're just going to skip this," Amity responded.

"Yeah, we're going to hide out until this is over," Luz addded, while turning to Gus. "Hey Gus, if you want, later today we can hang out at the Humans Appreciation Society-"

"Actually, I already have plans after school, so today's meeting has been canceled," Gus interjected.

"Oh," Luz responded, surprised that Gus would cancel his club meeting. "Then I guess next time, right?" He gave a nod before walking to the assembly, though Luz looked concerned for him before she and Amity continued to head in the opposite direction.

As Willow walked with her friends, she noticed Boscha among the students heading for the assembly hall, which gives the plant girl an idea on how to find Skara.

Dolly, meanwhile, was hiding behind some lockers while the students were passing by. She was shaking her doll for some reason. "Why won't you respond?" she asked the doll, trying to speak to it.

Up on a rooftop of Hexside, Luz and Amity were hanging out together with some snacks.

"It's typical, you know," Amity said while eating her scorn chips, sharing them with Luz. "The Emperor's Coven is using this assembly to spread their Anti-Fae agenda. Just because we've had multiple bad experiences with a Fae, doesn't mean they're all bad."

"I know, like the Coachman was bad and all, but Puck wasn't," Luz replied while Amity rested her head onto Luz's shoulder. In response, she hung her arm around her girlfriend and sighed. "You think things would've been different if we had introduced Puck to our friends?"

"I think so. They would've liked him. My siblings were cool with him, so maybe they'd be cool with him as well, especially since he helped me decide that I wanted you to be my girlfriend," Amity replied and Luz nodded. Feeling that this topic was too heavy, Amity decided to change the subject. "Speaking of you being my girlfriend, I gotta ask… when did you realize that you liked girls?"

Luz thought about it. "Well, if you mean who was my first girl crush… you know Wendy Corduroy?"

"Yeah?" Amity asked, curious.

"She was how I knew that I liked girls," Luz remembered. "Dipper also used to have a crush on her and I think he still does honestly. I was even afraid that you might find Wendy more attractive than me."

Amity laughed. "I can see why you and Dipper liked her," she replied. "She is pretty cool."

"What about you?" Luz asked her. "What made you realize that you like girls?"

"Well… like you, it started with a crush I used to have on someone," Amity said.

"Oh? Who would that be? Azura?" Luz asked.

"Close… Willow," Amity stated.

"Wow, Willow…" Luz commented.

"It was just a small one, nothing serious, back when we were still the best of friends," Amity admitted. "Since I didn't want to risk ruining our friendship, I repressed my feelings and the crush went away by the time that I ruined our friendship anyway at the request of my parents."

"Hey, at least you two are friends again," Luz pointed out.

"Yeah, but after I cut ties with Willow I continued to repress my feelings for the longest time," Amity explained. "Until you. You were my first big crush, Luz."

Luz responded by kissing Amity on the forehead while gently stroking her hair. "You know, after all that's happened, I'm considering going to see Ms. Traveler."

"Yeah, I think you should too," Amity replied. "My meetings with her have been going very well."

"I'll admit, I have been putting this off and avoiding her ever since she first arrived at Hexisde," Luz confessed. "But now with my cambion powers acting up, Dr. Bride recommended that I seek the counseling of an expert in the field of psychology. And in the Boiling Isles, I can think of no one better than Ms. Traveler. And I tried thinking of someone better, because I have not been looking forward to this. She… intimidates me."

"I think she intimidates everyone, but I'm sure Ms. Traveler will help you in any way she can," Amity responded. "And after school, maybe you can help me with my spelling homework."

"Sure, I'll gladly help," Luz agreed. They would eventually have to go back in, but for now they just wanted this moment to last as long as it could.

"And so remember, kids! Always be on the lookout for Fae," said one speaker from the Emperor's Coven. "They may say they're friendly but really they're not! They could snatch you up and put you in a potato sack, and then repeatedly slam and beat you and tell you that you'll never ever amount to anything, Darryl!" This earned a complete silence from the students, and a face palm from Principal Bump. Realizing his slip up, the speaker turned to the microphone. "Um, forget the last part. Just don't trust Faes."

After the assembly was over, Boscha walked down the hallways while looking at her scroll and at a picture of Skara on the news app. In truth, she was also worried for her, and was terrified when she heard that Skara was the latest witch to go missing.

"Boscha!" a familiar voice shouted.

"What do you want?" Boscha asked Willow, muttering.

"Look, I know we have our differences but with Skara's recent disappearance-"

"I had nothing to do with it, alright?" Boscha snapped at her.

"I didn't say that," Willow retorted. "All I'm asking is if you know anywhere Skara might go."

The three-eyed girl turned to Willow. "Why would you come for me to help?"

"Because you knew Skara well and because you helped get me and my friends back to Hexside," Willow pointed out.

"I only did it to get back at my mom," Boscha claimed. "And in any case, I don't know how much help I can be."

"Anything you might know could be useful." Willow insisted.

"I… might have an idea, but I can't promise anything," Boscha said after a moment. "There is this place she'd go sometimes when she wanted to be alone…"

In Julia's office, the aforementioned counselor saw that Luz came in. "Well, what a wonderful surprise to see you here, Luz."

"Yeah, I'm here," Luz replied as she set her strap bag down. She turned to look at Amity, who was outside the door giving her a thumbs up. Luz gave her a thumbs up as well before the door closed and Luz took her seat. "So just… lay it on me."

"Lay on what?" Julia asked.

"You know, this is the moment when a troubled kid like me sits down and you just let me have it," Luz answered.

"Ms. Clawthorne, I don't know what you want me to say to you," Julia told her.

"But… isn't this how counseling works?" Luz asked.

Julia just sighed. "How counseling works is by me listening to you. So tell me, how have you been feeling?"

"Oh, um… I guess… a little… frustrated," Luz admitted.

"Do you know the cause? And please remember that you are not obligated to answer any questions that make you uncomfortable."

"Well… recently I learned that… I'm a cambion," Luz said and scales popped up on her hand. "See? This keeps happening when I feel a little agitated."

"Do you need a stress ball or some water?" Julia offered.

"Oh um, thanks but I'm fine," Luz replied.

"Okay, so do you know why you're feeling agitated now?"

"Well, I guess for one my house was trashed by some Glandus punks that I probably pissed off before," Luz answered. "I guess that got me on edge. And before that my mom and I were attacked by a werewolf. But that's not as bad as before…" She looked down at her knees. "Okay, so I have this healing factor that came with my cambion form. But lately I'm not healing as quickly as I used to. I don't know why it isn't working but my doctor said that it may be something psychological? But like how does that work exactly? I honestly don't even know what I am. My whole life I didn't really belong in either this world or the human world and now I belong even less. I was the human who wanted to be a witch and now I am not even that." She looked up at Julia. "It's… it sounds weird, don't you think?"

"No, not at all, Luz," Julia replied, listening intently. "It's perfectly normal for someone like you to ask these kinds of questions. You're not alone on this. I have met many people who shared with me their struggles of who they are. And sometimes this struggle does affect their psyche."

"You mean, like I have an identity crisis?" Luz asked.

"That is right," Julia responded. "Which is especially common at your age even without your special circumstances. I can't give you all the answers, but just know this. You can't let your species define you who you are. Labels like human, witch, or cambion do not define who Luz Clawthorne is. What defines Luz Clawthorne is you, because no matter what, you're still Luz."

Luz nodded, contemplating what Julia said.

Later at the Owl House, Luz and Amity were in the living room working on the spell. Luz placed an apple on the table, while Amity read from the book.

"Okay, I'm gonna try using this aging spell to age that apple to rotten, and then age it back," Amity explained. "Now this is a sensitive spell, so I'm going to be needing absolute silence."

"Don't worry, I got Hooty asleep after making him listen to some mellow 80s city pop music, and I got King busy playing on an old gaming system I set up for him in his room," Luz replied as she stood by her girlfriend's side. "Now we can't expect mom and Aunt Lily back anytime soon, so I think we're ready."

Amity nodded, reading from the spell book as she created a spell circle. "I cast this spell to age this-"

Suddenly, the side door opened, showing a disgruntled Eda with an apologetic Lilith. "Eda, I said I was sorry!"

"Mom? Aunt Lily? Why are you two here now!?" Luz demanded, as their entrance interrupted Amity's spell casting. But the book and spell circle still glowed.

"Well we were out searching for your friend Skaba, until Lily started being a worried wart over me," Eda explained.

"I was just reminding you to be careful when flying like that," Lilith pointed out. "You really should have flown higher, there is less risk involved."

"Um, can you two take your argument elsewhere? We're in a middle of something-"

"Hey Luz!" King rushed towards Luz, hugging onto her leg. "I was playing that old game you gave me, but then a giant, scary eel popped out!"

"King! This is not the time!" Luz said as Eda and Lilith continued to argue, before Luz noticed the spell circle glowing brighter. "Amity, what's happening!?"

"I don't know! The spell circle isn't dispelling!" Amity shouted before they were blinded by a bright flash.

Outside, Hooty was singing Japanese lyrics from the music he was listening to, ignoring the cries and screams coming from inside the house. "Hmm? What was that? Oh well," he said as he continued about his day.

After the flash, everyone was knocked out. Groaning, Luz opened her eyes and her vision blurred. "Ooh man, what happened?" she asked, but her voice sounded a bit different. She looked around and saw Amity down as well. "Amity? Amity, are you alright?"

She quickly rushes to Amity's aid, turning her over only to find her looking more… womanly.

"Ah!" Luz shrieked, staring at the now adult Amity whose lilac hair was now longer and running down her back. "What just… happened? My voice… ow, my back." Luz turned to look into a mirror, showing that she too was an adult. Her hair was still a flip-style bobcut as she noticed her own body having… curves. "HOLY SHIT!"

Amity had started to wake up. "Oh man...Luz? What happen-" She noticed Luz's adult form and was then shown the mirror. "What the… OH MY TITAN!"

The two ended up screaming in terror, only stopping after a long moment.

"Wait! Where's mom and Aunt Lily? And King!?" Luz asked, looking around.

"Um… why are you two screaming?" asked a younger pale girl with bushy orange hair and a Hexside uniform. She was next to another uniformed girl with red cotton ball hair and glasses. "And second question, who even are you?"

"Where… where are we?" the other asked.

"Oh no… that's…" Luz's eyes widened in shock.

"Eda and Lilith as kids!?" Amity finished, the two looking at each other with worry.

"How… how do you know our names? Who are you two?" Young Lilith asked, backing away.

"They're strangers, Lily! They probably kidnapped us!" Young Eda replied as she brought out a much tinier version of King. "Don't make me sick this… weird cat or whatever it is on you two!"

"King!" Baby King yapped as his tiny paws wiggled around.

"Aww, so that's what baby King looks-" Luz shook her head and grabbed King from Young Eda. "I mean, calm down, we're not kidnappers. I'm your daughter!"

"My… daughter?" Young Eda questioned, while leaning towards Lilith. "This lady's crazier than I thought."

"Wait, you don't actually know you had a daughter, mom?" Luz asked.

"Look, I don't know why you keep calling me mom, but me and Lily are heading out!" Eda twirled her finger to cast a spell, only for her magic to not work. "Huh? My magic? What happened to my magic?"

Young Lilith tried to cast a spell too and was also shocked. She turned to the Adult Luz and Amity accusingly. "What did you two do to our magic?"

"Look, I know it looks bad, but trust us we have a logical explanation," Adult Amity reassured. "That age spell I was trying to cast may have accidentally aged us. And it looks like you have no memories of us because when you were aged down, so did their memories. Tell me, do you two know an Odalia Grubar and Raine Whispers?"

"Yeah, we know them," Eda replied, while Luz and Amity held up their scrolls.

"This is them," Amity said as she showed a picture of her mom and Luz held up one of Raine.

"Woah! When did those two become adults!?" Eda exclaimed in shock.

"This is… surprising," Lilith said, looking at Odalia. Her eyes widened. "Wait, she's CEO of Blight Industries?"

"No way, Rainestorm's part of the Bard Coven!" Eda added, turning to Lilith. "I think we're in the future, Lily!"

"No, listen," Amity said to them. "You two have aged down probably thirty years. Luz here is your adopted daughter, Eda, along with King, the little guy you held up earlier."

"Wait, I adopted some kids?" Eda asked in confusion.

"What is the last thing you remember?" Luz asked.

"I was… recruited into the Emperor's Coven after my match with Eda…" Lilith stated

"Yeah, and I ran away from home," Eda commented.

"King! King!" Baby King squeaked as he began stacking some stuff from the human junk pile.

"Oh, so this is after she cursed you," Luz blurted out. Realizing what she just said, she covered her mouth with a gasp while Lilith's eyes widened.

"Wait, she cursed… what do you mean?" Eda asked Luz.

"Oh, it's nothing about who cursed who-"

"How did you know that!?" Lilith blurted out, causing her to cover her own mouth.

"Wait… what's going on?" Eda eyed Lilith suspiciously. "Lilith did you… were you the one that gave me the owl curse!?"

"I… I… Edalyn, you have to understand…" Lilith said, trying to reach for her sister who pulled her arm away.

"Don't touch me!" Eda stepped back, looking shocked. Followed by a look of horror and then anger. "I can't believe you'd do that to your own sister! And for what? So you can cheat your way into the Emperor's Coven!?"

"I'm sorry, but you were always showing off and I was afraid-"

"Do you honestly think that I'd fight you over a position in the Emperor's Coven? Like hell I'd join with them, and to hell with you!" Eda shouted, tears falling from her eyes as she left the living room and rushed upstairs.

"Edalyn!" Lilith cried out, only to hear a door shut. "Edalyn, I'm sorry!"

Luz looked guilty that this happened. "Lilith, I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to blurt it out like that!" Lilith only lowered her head in silence, then ran out of the living room and headed for the bathroom. "Lilith!" Luz called out as the bathroom door shut. Adult Luz just sighed in defeat, sat on the couch, and buried her hands in her face, "I can't believe I did that."

"Hey, don't get yourself worked up over it, Luz," Adult Amity replied. "Right now, we just need to reverse this spell. Then things go back the way it was between your mom and Lilith."

"Yeah, but what do we do now? They're most likely to not trust us now thanks to me," Luz stated.

"Well, for now we should just give them some space and make sure that they don't leave the house," Amity advised and Luz nodded in agreement.

"Hey, what's with all the commotion about?" asked Hooty who popped through the door, only to see the adult versions of Luz and Amity, and a baby King who kept stacking. "Oh, just business as usual. Well, I'll leave you girls to whatever." He then popped back outside.

"Hello, this is the Magical Mishap Hotline, what seems to be the problem?"

"Yes, me and my girlfriend were doing an aging spell for homework, but then we ended up switching our ages with her mom and aunt by accident. Now we're adults and they're children," Adult Amity explained while using the crystal ball a bit later. She now wore a white long gown with purple trims, and black boots.

"Oh, well that's not too bad," the operator replied. "This kind of thing usually happens during body-swapping, but it can happen with other spells as well."

"How do we fix it?" Amity replied.

"You might not like this, but it's probably one of those enchantments where you have to learn a life lesson before things return to normal," the operator answered. "If you make some kind of breakthrough or reach some kind of revelation before midnight, then you should be restored to your proper ages. The lesson depends on the individuals involved. Could be anything."

"Wait, what happens after midnight?" Amity asked.

"Then you'll be stuck as you are for the rest of your life. I know, it's inconvenient. But you gotta let the scenario run its course."

Amity's eyes widened. "I'll keep that in mind, thank you," she said as she hung up.

Coming out of a room, Luz was shown wearing a blue version of one of her mom's dresses, which came with blue leggings and blue boots "Check this out!" she stated, flexing her arms. "Looks like I got some bicep game at this age. What do you think, Ams?"

Blushing, Amity stared at how fitting the dress was for Luz's adult form. "Oh… you look… stunning. I mean, we are in mature bodies," she said while looking away. "A-Anyway, I called the hotline and we only have until midnight to change back to normal. All we need to do is apparently learn a life lesson."

"Alright, what kind of life lesson?" Luz asked.

"Not sure, he was pretty vague but he said that it could be anything. It apparently depends on the people involved," Amity answered.

"Great! Maybe all we need is to learn how hard adults have it while Eda and Lilith experience how difficult it is being teenagers in this era," Luz guessed. "Now as an adult woman of my age, I should spend the afternoon drinking apple blood like mom always does."

"Or, we can check up on your mom and aunt to make sure they're alright," Amity suggested.

"Oh, right! Be the responsible adult, got it!" Luz replied, rubbing the back of her head. "Maybe you should handle mom while I go and check up on Lilith."

She agreed and soon the two went to the individual Clawthorne sisters. Lilith was still in the bathroom, so Luz knocked on the door. "Hey, Lilith, are you alright in there?"

"Please, leave me alone," Young Lilith's voice answered.

"Listen, I can't make you trust me, but me and Amity want to help you," Adult Luz responded. "I know this is confusing for both of us."

Inside the bathroom, Lilith was sitting on the floor while hugging herself. She had been crying for a while as she thought about her actions and her sister learning about them.

"If I come out, would you be able to answer my questions?" Young Lilith asked her.

"Sure, ask me anything," Adult Luz promised and Young Lilith came out a moment later.

"Okay… you said Edalyn was your mom, do you hate me for cursing her?" Lilith asked her.

Adult Luz looked down at Lilith. "Mad at you, yeah. But hate you? Not at all. You made mistakes, Lilith, but you also tried to make up for them. And despite everything, your sister decided to take you in so that you two could try to be sisters again. If Eda was willing to give you a chance, then so was I."

"So you just… forgave me?" Lilith asked her.

"Mostly, yeah. Everyone in this family does stupid stuff, but we just try to learn from it and move forward," Luz explained.

"I guess…" Lilith said, looking away. "What about me and Odalia? What happens to… us?"

"Oh yeah, Amity did mention you two used to date," Luz recalled. "Well, you both eventually broke up and Odalia got married to Alador."

Lilith didn't look at Luz. "Is she… happy with him?"

"I think so. Honestly, I don't really know them that well, since I only met them a few times," Luz answered. "But they seem happy with each other."

"Oh… I see, good for her then," Lilith said while on the brink of tears. She broke down crying. "I… I loved my girlfriend soooo much!" she wailed as Luz panicked and tried to calm her down.

"Hey, hey! It's alright!" Luz said, letting Lilith cry on her shoulder. "Hey, it's going to be alright." She hugged the crying Lilith, patting her on the back. "Things are going to be okay," she said both to Lilith and to herself.

The old witch's cemetery was a sacred ground for the witches that have passed. A sacred ground that was now being trespassed on as someone walked by the tombstones.

"Hope she's right about this place… then again, Skara would hang out here," Willow said to herself, remembering Boscha's tip.

"She might go to the old cemetery… she used to sit by this dead croak tree next to the grave with her ancestral family remains."

Willow found the right spot and saw someone underneath the shadow of the tree. "Skara?"

The figure heard Willow, got up, and started walking toward her. "Skara, is that… you?" Willow asked before realizing it was the werewolf Luz warned her about.

"Grrrr," the werewolf snarled as Willow was taken aback by the creature.

'That werewolf… why would it be here…' Willow thought before she put two and two together… and gasped. "Skara?! Is… is that you?" she asked, causing the wolf to stop. "Skara, it's me, Willow! Is that you? Are you… the werewolf?"

The snarl became a whimper as Willow walked closer.

"I don't know what's going on, but I can get you the help you need," Willow said, reaching out to her. "Boscha said that I might be able to find you here, so-"

The werewolf's eyes narrowed, hearing that name made her snarl again. It growled at Willow who fell back. The werewolf then jumped over her and ran out of the cemetery, leaving Willow behind.

"Skara!" Willow cried out, running after the werewolf.

Meanwhile, Adult Amity was knocking on the door to Eda's room, "Eda? Are you in there?" she asked. Silence. "I'm coming in, is that alright?" she asked. No response. Worried, Amity opened the door. "Eda!" She saw the young Clawthorne girl just standing there, looking at a picture. Amity sighed in relief as she walked up to her. "You had me worried for a second."

"Hey," Young Eda said before pointing to the picture she was looking at. "This photo, that's me grown up, isn't it?"

Amity looked at it. It was a picture of the older, present Eda with young Luz and King together. "Well yeah, that's what we've been trying to tell you."

"Okay, so then from all the things I've checked out, I'm kind of a wild witch around here, am I?" Eda asked her. "Yet, I can't do magic. Why is that?"

Adult Amity started to explain. "It's because as you got older, your curse was getting worse. Lilith decided to perform a spell so both of you would share the effects of the curse. Which is why she can't do magic either."

"Lily… did that?" Eda asked and Amity nodded.

"She gave up her position in the Emperor's Coven to save her family," Amity told her. "I know it won't make up for what she did, I have the exact same feeling."

Eda looked up to her. "What did she do to you?"

"Well, she was my mentor and… she had me keep secrets from my girlfriend. It went really wrong and I couldn't forgive her for what she put me and her own family through," Amity answered. "But eventually, we have to. Not saying now, but when you're ready."

Eda looked down at her boots. "Why are you so nice to me?"

"Because your older self has been nothing but nice to me, even if I didn't deserved it. You've actually helped me out a lot," Amity answered.

"Really?" Eda asked in surprise.

"Amity!" called out Adult Luz, who came upstairs. "We need to head out!"

"What? What's wrong?" Amity asked, looking concerned.

"I just got a call from Gus… he's in mall jail!" Luz answered, shocking Amity.

Boscha was just coming out from the marketplace, having bought some groceries for herself and Tom. However, as she was heading back home, she heard a growling noise.

She checked her surroundings. "Who's there? I'm warning you, I can fight back!" Boscha said as she was about to perform a spell. She then noticed a shadow looming over her and when she turned around, she saw the werewolf and screamed. "AAAAHH!"

The werewolf snarled at her and took a swipe, but Boscha dropped her groceries and ran. She shot a fire blast at the creature, but the werewolf only snarled in response. As the werewolf pursued her, Boscha tripped and fell. She saw the werewolf raising her claws and Boscha tried to dodge the attack, only to get scratched on the arm.

"Crap!" She winced and brought out a potion, throwing it at the werewolf and leaving a purple cloud of smoke. The werewolf howled as she couldn't see, but she could still hear and smell Boscha. She was about to keep chasing her, but a vine wrapping around her feet put a stop to that idea.

The tri-clops witch saw her savior. "Run!" Willow shouted and Boscha did just that. Willow's vines couldn't restrain the werewolf for long as she slashed through them. The werewolf then turned to Willow.

"Willow, run!" Skara cried out, chained in the same basement that her inner self had once been imprisoned. She looked noticeably weaker.

"She can't hear you…" the Inner Demon told her. "You know, this reminds me of the time I had Amity in a situation similar to the one you are in right now…"

Skara turned to glare at him. "What?"

"Ah yes, it was back when her inner self was in control as well," the Inner Demon recalled. "And at that moment, she did something drastic to try to keep Amity in line… and she did just that thanks to your help."

Her eyes widened, remembering the time at the photo lab. "No… I tried to stop her!"

"Not until after you pulled out her memories," he told her. "If it weren't for you, Amity wouldn't have had her mind nearly destroyed. And what's more, that you left one photo behind, which led to that Dolly girl finding it and to Boscha exposing that memory to the entire school! Sooner or later you would have to pay for how you hurt your friends…"

The look Skara had was one of horror, her mouth was left agape as she felt her magic draining.

At the Bonesborough Bazaar, the Adult Luz and Amity had with them the Young Eda, Lilith and baby King who was in a baby carrier strapped on Luz.

"Wow, the Bazaar looks different, is that a new store? And did the arcade just get updated!?" Young Eda asked, looking around. She was currently wearing a mouse-eared hat. Lilith wore a sloth toboggan.

"Now then, if anyone asks, you two are Linda and Lydia. Amity will keep watching over you while I bust out Gus. Ams, think you can keep 'Linda' out of trouble?" Luz asked, referring to Eda.

"Don't worry about me, just go bust out Gus," Amity replied. Luz nodded and went to get Gus while Amity turned around "Alright, now Eda-" She saw that only Lilith was still there. "Where is your sister?"

Eda was heading for the arcade, in awe at all the flashing lights. "Wow… shiny…" she said as she rushed in.

"Linda!" Adult Amity cried out before turning to Lilith. "Wait here," she said as she was about to rush after Eda into the arcade.

Adult Luz found herself outside of the Mall Jail. When she saw Mattholomule with his mom, Sandra, she realized she was in the right place.

"Hey, is Gus Porter still in there?" Adult Luz asked them.

"Yeah, he's in there. Are you his mom?" Sandra asked her.

"Nonono, just a friend of the family," Luz responded, noticing Sandra's jacket "Nice jacket by the way, real cool."

"Thanks, nice dress," Sandra complimented. "Anyway, I'm going to have a long talk with my son, Gus is still incarcerated."

"What happened that got them there?" Luz asked and when Sandra explained it her eyes widened in shock.

Inside the Mall Jail, Gus was sitting on a bench in a cell while the security guard just read his newspaper. "AUGUSTUS PORTER!" The use of his full name startled the boy and he turned to see Adult Luz marching up to him. "What the hell!?"

Gus was confused at first, until he recognized the baby version of King and saw the round ears.

"Wait… Luz!?" Gus exclaimed. He had been expecting Eda.

"I had a magical mix-up, but that's besides the point!" Luz scolded him, while turning to the guard. "I'm here to pick him up."

"Okay," he replied in a bored tone as he pushed a button, releasing Gus from his cell. "Alright, you're free to go. He just has to write his name down to put the one month ban into effect."

"A month ban?" Luz asked, turning to look at Gus as he signed his name on a sheet.

"He and his little gang were caught shoplifting. He's lucky he just gets a ban, cause if he tried to shoplift from the Immortal 21 store, they'd put him up to work in their sweatshops," the security guard stated.

Once they were free, Luz and Gus walked out together. "So um… what kind of magical mishap did you get into this time-"

"What the hell was that, Gus?" Luz turned to him, showing how disappointed she was in him. "Shoplifting? Getting yourself arrested? You are lucky Willow wasn't the one getting you out of the slammer! Do you know how much trouble you've gotten yourself into?"

"It's not that big of a deal," Gus said, looking away.

"This could go on your permanent record, and what if your dad finds out?" Luz scolded him harshly. "What were you even trying to prove!?"

"Stop acting like you're my mom, okay?!" Gus shouted at her, causing Luz to be taken aback.

Before the adult Clawthorne girl could completely process it, she heard her scroll buzzing. "We're going to talk about this later," Luz told him as she pulled out her scroll.

During this time, Adult Amity finally managed to get Young Eda and Lilith to sit with her in the food court. "Okay, I'm going to order something for us to take out, you two be on your best behavior, alright?" she asked them.

"Yeah, yeah, we got it," Young Eda waved it off, while Young Lilith only nodded. As Amity left, Eda faced away from her sister while Lilith looked down awkwardly.

"It's… pretty weird how things have changed in the Boiling Isles, isn't it?" Lilith asked, but Eda didn't respond. Lilith sighed. "Edalyn, I'm sorry-"

"Apologizing ain't gonna help," Eda muttered before spotting someone else in the food court, "Hey, isn't that Odie? Looks like the years weren't kind to her hips…" she said with a smirk, causing Lilith to look worried when she saw her sister pulling out a glyph card from her pocket. "Now how do these things work again?"

Meanwhile, Amity was handed a Newt Burger bag. "Thank you," she told the worker, before she heard a loud cry, causing her to turn around and see Eda messing around with someone "Oh no, Linda!" she called out as she rushed over to where 'Linda' was.

"Oh! How dare you!" Odalia shouted, finding herself soaking wet as Adult Amity came to grab the laughing Eda.

"Hahaha! Should've seen the look on your face-"

"Linda, that was not nice!" Amity scolded her, before turning to the woman. "I'm sorry, ma'am…" She then realized that it was her mother. 'Rats!' she thought in a panic.

"Is that your daughter, miss?" Odalia demanded to know.

"O-Oh, no, I don't have kids. I'm just babysitting for a friend," Amity replied, nervously sweating as Odalia seemed to be suspicious.

"Do I know you from somewhere? You look familiar…" Odalia asked her.

"Um… no! I probably just have one of those faces…" Amity stammered while looking away. "My name is…." She came up with the first name she could think of. "…May White."

"Well then, nice to meet you, May White," Odalia responded, not realizing who she was really talking to.

"And I must apologize for Linda's behavior, she's had too many pixie treats," the older Amity said while Eda stuck her tongue out at Odalia, only for Amity to give her a glare before turning back to Odalia.

"Don't worry, I know how it is, I have three kids and my oldest ones are the same way," Odalia replied. "At least my youngest daughter is more well behaved than them or at least she usually was before she made things difficult for the entire family…"

"Oh… is that so?" Amity asked.

"It's complicated," Odalia sighed. "And I blame myself more than I blame her. Parenting is all about trying to make sure you do what is best for your kids and unfortunately you can't always get it right. It is a thankless job as well, since they don't always appreciate what you are trying to do for them. It can be stressful, but it is still worth it in the end."

"I guess…" Amity replied. "But you'd do anything for your kids, huh?"

"Yes, even if they don't like it or think that I care. But you gotta be hard on them because you care. I just hope that they'll understand what I am doing for them, since I don't want my relationship with them to end up like mine with my parents did," Odalia admitted. "You said that you don't have kids? Well, you want my advice? Get some."

Amity nodded. "Uh, good luck with your youngest."

Odalia smiled. "Thank you. It was meeting you Ms. White," she said, handing Amity her card before starting to leave. "Perhaps we will meet again when you are not babysitting."

"Yeah, maybe…" Amity replied as she brought Eda back to the table and noticed Lilith hiding underneath. "She's gone now, Lilith."

Lilith popped her head up, her face red as she saw Odalia in her adult body walking away. "I can't believe that's her…"

"And she had kids, with one that probably hates her," Eda mentioned.

Lilith tried not to look upset, but she turned to Amity. "How was I in the Emperor's Coven?"

The question caught Amity by surprise. "Um… yeah, you made it up the ranks to become Head of the Emperor's Coven, actually."

"Was I… good?" Lilith asked timidly.

"Well you were…" Amity replied, hesitant since she was trying to not hurt the young Lilith's feelings. "Look, you were the Head of the Emperor's Coven and… you did things you won't be proud of, but you still did some good. And it almost cost you your family and relationships… so you had to sacrifice your career to save your sister and your niece from the Emperor's Coven."

Lilith looked down, she had always wanted to join the Emperor's Coven but now she wasn't so sure about it.

Adult Luz's eyes widened after hearing what Willow had to say. "Are you sure, Willow? That was Skara?" she asked, which confused Gus.

"Yes, the werewolf and Skara are one of the same," Willow responded, looking visibly distraught. "She attacked Boscha and I managed to stop her in time, but I think things are about to get worse…"

"How much worse?" Luz asked and Gus checked his Penstagram after hearing his scroll ping.

"Hey, is this it?" Gus asked, showing Luz the Penstagram video of Nicole Hieron making an announcement.

"My daughter was assaulted by a werewolf just moments ago!" Nicole declared. "That monster may have bitten my daughter-"

"It was just a scratch, mom-"

"I'm talking, Boscha!" Nicole shouted before turning back to the camera. "Now then, I'm setting up a high bounty to whoever captures this monster that's been roaming around the streets of Bonesborough! I want the Emperor's Coven to track down this monster and have it euthanized!"

Luz's eyes widened and so did Gus's. Baby King was too confused about what was going on, so he went back to sleep.

"Willow, I need you to meet back at the Owl House. I'll drop off Gus, King, Eda and Lilith there. Me and Amity will find Skara," she told her.

"Okay, just be careful," Willow responded.

After the call, she turned to Gus. "Come on, we have to go."

Looking at her scroll, Calypso crushed it in her hand. "That bitch," she said with a heated glare.

After flying back to the Owl House on their staffs, the Adult Luz and Amity dropped off Young Eda, Lilith, baby King and Gus.

"Stay there until we get back," Adult Luz told the two.

"What? But I want to fight the werewolf!" Young Eda complained.

"It's too dangerous especially with everyone forming a mob," Adult Amity pointed out as she gathered some potions, medical supplies, and her abomination gourd. She turned to Luz. "I don't think I've seen you do a cambion form in your adult body yet."

Adult Luz focused on her arm, growing scales and turning her fingers into claws. "Looks like I still got it. Willow, you're in charge of the house, we'll be back with Skara."

"Please bring her back safe," Willow told them and Amity patted her on the back.

"Don't worry, Willow, we won't let anything happen to her. You have our word," Amity reassured before Luz picked her up bridal style, causing her to blush "Luz! What… what are you doing!?"

"We're gonna fly," Luz replied as they exited the house. Once her wings spread out, she flew off with Amity.

"Hey," Luz said to Amity. "Do you think we'll get stuck like this if we don't figure out what our life lesson is supposed to be? I know it's not the right time to talk about this, but it is still something we should be concerned about.."

Amity understood what Luz meant. "I'm not sure," she admitted. "Would we have to take care of Eda and Lilith for the rest of our lives? I may have to work in a coven since I'm the only one with magic… but I don't know…"

"We'll probably just have to make the most of it," Luz responded before she saw some lights down in Bonesborough belonging to a group. "Oh no, the Demon Hunters are looking for Skara."

Amity noticed something else. "As well as our friends the Shadowy Secret Exposerz." She pointed at the aforementioned group, before spotting someone else. "Oh no."

"Let me guess, the Emperor's Guard?"

"Yeah, and they have the Head of the Beast-Keeping Coven with them."

Young Eda was with baby King who was sleeping next to her. She tapped on some glyph cards as Willow walked up to her "Hey, Eda."

"Do I… know you?" Young Eda asked her.

"I'm one of your daughter's friends, and you may know my dads from back when you were at Hexside. Sully and Gilbert," Willow answered.

"Huh, you're their daughter? I knew they would end up getting married," Eda replied as Willow sat down next to her. "I wonder if they still smoke weed."

'What!?' Willow thought in shock, but then she decided to change the subject. "So… about you and your sister…"

"What? The fact that she cursed me to get into the Emperor's Coven?" Eda retorted, turning away while petting Baby King. "She cursed her own little sister in her sleep, who the hell does that? How could she have done such a thing? I would've given her the spot of the Emperor's Coven, because I didn't even want it."

Willow listened and understood what Eda was coming from. "I know how you feel, Eda," she admitted. "I had a friend who has made some mistakes and hurt me in the past, someone that I held a grudge against for years. Even when she apologized and I saw that she had changed, it was hard for me to forgive her. But in the end… I did and I'm glad I did, because I am better off for it."

"Do I have to forgive her for cursing me?" Eda asked Willow.

"That's up for you to decide," Willow told her. "But I think Lilith really does regret it. Though to forgive is an act of compassion. It is not done because people deserve it, it is done because people need it."

Meanwhile Lilith was sitting at the couch just staring at her thumbs intertwined with each other. Gus was there with her, reading one of Luz's comics. "You've been quiet since we got here," he finally said.

"I was just… thinking about what I did to my sister," Lilith replied.

"Yeah, I heard and, to be honest, I don't blame Eda," Gus replied honestly. "Was it worth it?"

"...No, no it's not," Lilith admitted. "I wanted to join the Emperor's Coven with her but the truth was I couldn't stand the fact that she was ahead of me… but she always had my back no matter what. And what did I do to repay her? Put a curse on her while she slept…"

"If I was in Eda's place, I wouldn't forgive you no matter what," Gus told her off, turning away from her. "Sometimes I feel like people are forgiven too easily for hurting others."

"It wasn't my intention for her to be cursed for life," Lilith told him, but Gus just scoffed.

"Your intentions don't matter, what you did was unforgivable," Gus states, giving her a glare before turning his attention back to his comic. This only made Lilith feel worse about herself.

Luz and Amity continued their search, flying up high until Luz's ears picked up snarling noises.

"I think I hear her," Luz said while looking around before she spotted something outside of Hexside. "I think that's her!"

"Come on, before the others get to her," Amity said as they flew down.

Skara was walking across the Hexside grudgby field in her werewolf form, the Inner Demon's voice echoing in her head. She howled, feeling herself in pain.

"Skara!"

The werewolf looked up to see the adult Luz flying down with the adult Amity in her arms. Luz set Amity down on the ground next to her. "Skara, it's us, Luz and Amity, your friends!" Amity called out while Luz shifted from her cambion form to her normal look.

The werewolf snarled at them, backing away.

"Easy, girl, we're not here to fight," Luz reassured and Amity stepped in.

"Skara, we know that you're the werewolf, Willow told us about it," Amity said, calmly walking towards her. Mentioning Willow seemed to calm the wolf down. "You may not recognize us, but it's us, your friends."

"My… fault…"

Amity's eyes widened when the werewolf spoke. "What do you mean, Skara?" she asked.

"My fault… Amity almost… died…"

Amity realized that the werewolf was referring to the photo lab incident. "Skara, what happened wasn't your fault," she told her as she stepped closer. "What happened at the photo lab was an accident. I don't care if you are accidentally responsible for the bad things that happened to me. I know that you didn't mean to intentionally hurt me, I know that you feel bad for it, and I know that you don't deserve anything bad to happen to you." She reached out, petting the werewolf's head. "I just… I just want my friend back."

The werewolf calmed down even more. However, a magic rope wrapped around the werewolf's torso, pulling her away from Amity and towards the person with the rope: Eyepatch.

"We got her first!" Eyepatch declared and his gang of Demon Hunters cheered.

"Hey!" Luz shouted at him, going into cambion mode. "Let her go, now!"

"Not a chance, with the bounty for this thing we will be able to afford retirement!" Eyepatch declared while restraining the snarling Skara.

This angered Luz more, even as an adult her rage mixed with her cambion form causing her to see red… and her eyes to flash blue. "She is not a thing!" Luz flew in quickly, punching Eyepatch across his chin, sending him crashing into the field's bleachers.

"Boss!" Tom the hunter cried out, glaring at Luz as he and the other hunters tried to shoot at her with their crossbows. However, Luz threw her glyph cards at them, freezing them in ice blocks.

Skara managed to free herself, glares at the hunters that surrounded her. She tried to swipe at them, but they were grabbed by Amity's Abomination goo which had formed into a large hand. And before Skara could do anything else, a purple light net formed to keep her from attacking. The werewolf swiped her claws at her trap, but it did nothing..

"Sorry, Skara, but this is for your own good!" Adult Amity told her.

Luz dealt with the rest of the hunters, using her wings to swipe at them and her fists to knock them out. After she was done unleashing hell, only one hunter remained shivering in fear.

"You know what? I'm done," the purple haired hunter said before running off.

"Even in your adult form, you managed to control your cambion form," Amity commented in awe. She turned to the angered werewolf. "Now what do we do with her?"

"We should take her to the Owl House or to her family… but who knows how she got turned into this in the first place," Luz said before she heard a noise. "Someone's coming!"

The two prepared for anything, but coming out were the Cerberus Sisters, "Hey, we found them!" Blondie called out and the rest of the Shadowy Secret Expozers showed up.

"It's the werewolf, and those two have already caught her!" Sioux pointed out.

"Hold on, she's not what you think!" Amity tried to tell them, but then she saw someone with the Shadowy Secret Expozers that surprised her: Slasher Brooke.

"Skara!" Slasher cried out, rushing towards his daughter. "Please, let her go! She didn't mean to hurt anyone!"

"Mr. Brooke?" Amity asked in confusion.

"Hold on, Skara's dad, we're not harming her or turning her in. We just want to help as well," Luz told him.

"We're here to help as well," Linkin Days explained. "Mr. Brooke hired us to look for a werewolf that was in the Boiling Isles, while his wife looked for his daughter."

"We kinda put two and two together and realized who the werewolf was," Eve admitted as she walked up to Skara who was still trapped in the next. The Oracle Track girl reached into the wolf's mind and spoke. "Clear," she said, her eyes turning light purple as Skara's eyes turned purple as well. Eve felt a strain when she tried to get into Skara's mind, but it was enough to calm the wolf down. "I'm no Beast Keeper, but I still should have been able to get into her mind…"

Slasher pulled out a tube of orange liquid, a potion, and grabbed his daughter's snout. "It's going to be alright, my child," he assured her as the liquid potion went into her mouth. "This will suppress the transformation." The wolf felt her body changing as she shrank down.

Luz and Amity watched as the werewolf changed back into Skara and Amity dispelled the net. Skara felt herself go back to normal, with her pajama clothes still intact.

"Skara, are you alright?" Slasher asked in concern for his daughter, holding her in his arms.

She looked tiredly up at her father. "D-Dad? I… I'm sorry… it was horrible, I-"

"Hush now, we'll get you out of here," he said as he turned to Luz and Amity. "I want to thank you two for your help. Who are you?"

"You may actually know us, sir," Amity told him.

"It's a long story, but we should get going," Luz replied.

"And we'll cover this up," Korn explained as Linkin pulled out a werewolf costume. "We got this from one of our past cases. One of these knocked out hunters will have to play patsy."

"This isn't the first time we have had to protect a client," Cyndi commented.

"Thank you for helping me find my daughter. I'll let my wife know that she's safe," Slasher said before picking up his daughter and walking away with Skara in his arms.

Luz and Amity flew off as well, but neither of them noticed who had witnessed the scene from the trees. It was a child-size bestial humanoid demon biped with wild auburn mane hair tied in a ponytail. It was covered in orange fur, had yellow eyes and magenta irises with two cat-like ears, and wore a green sleeveless shirt with a gray loincloth shaped like a claw, as well as dark brown boots with spiked arm bracers.

Seeing the cambion adult form of Luz, the beastly demon crawled down from the tree as it pulled out a communication mirror, getting in touch with the Golden Guard. "What's the status report, Eberwolf?" he asked the head of the Beast Keeping Coven.

"And so as it turns out, thanks to the gothic mystery solving teenagers, the werewolf turned out to be the leader of the infamous Demon Hunters, known as Kevin 'Eyepatch' Stonetooth-"

Nicole turned off her crystal ball, sitting alone in her office. "It was a werewolf that attacked my daughter…"

"Which is what I wanted to talk to you about."

Nicole's eyes widened, turning to the balcony to see Calypso landing. "Hello, Nicky… let's have a chat," Calypso spoke, looking both sober and angry…

After coming back to the Owl House, Luz and Amity told the others what happened.

"So Skara is going to be okay?" Willow asked and Amity gave her a reassuring nod.

"She will be fine. Her father is taking her home where she will be safe." Amity replied.

"I can't believe that lycanthropy is still a thing, the Healing Coven said that they cured it a long time ago," Lilith said. "Who knows what else they've been hiding…"

"Yeah, they do have a knack of hiding the truth from what I've heard," Eda said as she confronted her sister. "Lily… I took some time to think. While I don't approve of what you did, I should've reached out to you sooner. I knew how much the Emperor's Coven meant for you, and honestly it wasn't just for me."

Lilith looked down. "I should've talked to you about it as well instead of pulling what I did to you. I don't deserve your forgiveness, and I wasn't fair to you. Being in the Emperor's Coven wasn't worth losing not just my sister, but my best friend."

Eda smiled and went to hug her sister, "I don't know what will happen to us, but I don't want our past hangs up to hold us back. So I've decided to forgive you, Lilith, cause holding a grudge for the rest of my life doesn't sound like how I want to live."

Lilith sniffed as she hugged Eda back.

Luz and Amity smiled along with Willow. "You know, I think I appreciate mom more after having to experience what she went through raising me. The scolding with Gus, saving Skara from the Hunters, and calming Lilith…"

Amity smiled with a nod of agreement. "But it is worth it and I've been thinking that maybe I'm ready to open up to Lilith again," she admitted. "I don't think I'm ready to completely forgive her yet, but I'm getting there."

It was then that a golden light engulfed the older Luz and Amity, the young Eda and Lilith, and baby King as Amity grabbed Luz's face to give her a kiss while in their adult forms.

The five were reverted back to their proper ages, with Eda and Lilith back to their old adult selves, while Luz and Amity, still kissing, were back to being teenagers.

"Whoa, that was…" Luz said after pulling away from the kiss.

"Something we can look forward to when we grow up," Amity replied with a smile, causing Luz to blush.

"Uh, right," Luz stammered as she turned to her mom and Lilith. "How are you two feeling? Do you two remember anything?"

"Well, my memory's fuzzy but… I do remember learning about who cursed me sooner and deciding to forgive her," Eda said, smiling towards Lilith, who smiled back.

"I meant what I said, the Emperor's Coven was not worth losing my sister and best friend," Lilith replied, patting her sister's shoulder.

"And I learned what it's like to be a prop baby!" King declares, back to his older self. "I just do absolutely nothing but be cute… wait, that was my lesson?"

"Glad you're all back to normal," Willow told them.

"Yeah, and good thing too," Eda said as she picked up her staff. "Wait, are you wearing one of my dresses, Luz!?"

"We can talk about that later, these two need to get home," Luz pointed out. "Aunt Lily, I think you should take Willow home. Mom, you should take Gus home and tell his dad what happened at the mall."

"What?" Gus asked. "Luz!"

"What? Gus, you got banned from the mall for shoplifting. Did you think that I wouldn't tell her?" Luz asked him, Gus turning away.

"But you get away with that stuff all the time!" Gus pointed out.

"Doesn't mean I should be proud of it," Luz argued. "I don't know what's gotten into you lately, but you need to quit going down this path before it gets worse."

"I'm fine! It's not like I hurt anybody!" Gus argued.

"Yet," Eda interjected. "Come on, kid. We can discuss this more with your dad."

"I can't do anything around here," Gus mumbled, putting on his hood as he went out with Eda. Willow gave Gus a concerned look before leaving with Lilith as well.

After they were both gone, Luz and Amity slumped down on the couch, giving out long sighs. "Today was a weird day," Amity said.

"Yeah, I'm gonna miss my athletic game," Luz admitted and Amity nodded in agreement. "But at least now we know we're going to be the foxiest adults, so we have that to look forward to."

"Yeah, though I am in no rush to grow up," Amity said with a blush.

"Me neither," Luz said, putting her arm around Amity as they sat close to each other.

In the Brooke home, Skara was in her bedroom with her parents comforting her.

"I didn't know what to do when I saw that patch so I tried to cover it up," Skara admitted to her parents. "I was too afraid to show it to anyone. But then after Willow left, an imposter who I thought was you, mom, came in and took me somewhere… I feel so terrible, I'm sorry for making you guys worry about me."

"Don't blame yourself, hon," Slasher assured her.

"It's not your fault, dear, what's important now is that you're safe," Calypso told her daughter as both parents hugged her. "Now get some rest, call us if you need anything else."

After they both left, Skara sighed and laid back on her pillow. But then someone else came into her room, it was Scabrina.

"Hey sis, what do you want?" Skara asked, only to be surprised when her little sister climbed onto her bed and hugged her. "W-What-"

"I'm glad that you're safe, Skary!" Scabrina told her, causing Skara to feel a slight panic. "Don't worry, I'm real, I'm not an impostor. And I'll make sure nobody ever takes you ever again."

Skara felt her sister's dark aura as she hugged her back, tears flowing down her face. "Thanks, I appreciate it."

For now the nightmare was over and Skara couldn't be more grateful.

Coming out from the attic, Boscha closed the door behind her as she headed toward her bedroom. On her way there she saw her mom coming out of her office with snake bite marks on her face.

"That drunken…" Nicole was about to curse until she saw her daughter. "Oh, my little Pink-Eyes, how are you doing?"

"Fine," Boscha muttered.

"Are you sure that she didn't do anything else to you, dear?" Nicole asked, which confused the tri-clops girl.

"Wait, she? You know that the werewolf was a girl?" Boscha asked curiously.

"It wasn't that hard to figure out even before-" Nicole stopped herself, shaking her head. "Anyway, we're getting you tested tomorrow morning at the Healing Coven General. Just to be sure." She then walked away, leaving a confused and suspicious Boscha.

Meanwhile, in the Forest of Fear, the Inner Demon was speaking to someone else.

"Our plan with Skara failed," the imposter Calypso told the Inner Demon.

"Which is fine," the Inner Demon's voice echoed in the mists. "She was just an opportunity to take advantage of, not the main course…"
