Hunter is in the shadow of the original Golden Guard and a hooded woman wearing a mask, both who tower over him.

A teenage Eda is shown living in an old, dilapidated house in the human realm. She is with a human girl her age, the two shaking hands as they make a promise to each other.

A pre-teen Odalia, dressed in the uniform of a witch's scout, gets a door slammed in her face.

The shadows of Arthur and Destiny Blight loom over a teenage Alador, mirroring the memory of Alador and Odalia looming over a young Amity.

A human man levels a shotgun, aiming it at a teenage Eda, who has transformed into the Owl Beast.

Alador, as a young adult, is holding up the champion belt for the Bonesborough Brawl as Odalia stands next to him, leading the impressionable audience into cheers and applause.

Mabel is being strapped down to a chair by the Blind Eye Society.

Hunter is hiding behind a tree as Luz, who is in her cambion form, looks for him.

A man pulls down his hood, revealing himself to be an older Dell Clawthorne.

A pointy-eared man with dark skin, tall black hair that obscures his horns, a bandana wrapped around his head, and a guitar strapped to his back smiles to himself. "Boiling Isles, it is good to be back. How many centuries has it been?"

The Baron puts on a charming smile as he talks to someone. "You're in my world now, not your world," he sings. "And I got friends on the other side…"

Luz notices a figure watching her in the distance. This bestial figure, who is on horseback, is dressed in a crimson cloak and has burning eyes. It wears a mask that looks like a bleached skull with deer antlers coming out of it.

A hand clutches the key and presses its eye-shaped button… causing a new portal door to unfold.

Bill offers his hand to Luz. "Do we have a deal, Lizard Bat?" he asks as Luz slowly reaches to shake it…
