23 Chapter 22: The Familiar Forest!
It was the first time Shiro had teleported to a place he had not seen. Luckily the teleportation was successful.
He saw the Familiars Forest and had to admit that if it was before getting his powers he would have been terrified by this forest, with red sky and gloomy Black trees with no leaves on them.
'This is like the forest in horrors movies. In the anime this forest was not that scary but it's not an anime anymore.'
"W-where are we?" Asia asked nervously because the gloomy forest was too scary for her.
"Asia-Chan this is the forest where we get familiars." Akeno explained.
"Yes, Asia-Senpai we have got our familiar here." Koneko's words convinced Asia making her a little more comfortable with this place.
"The Familiar master, should be here waiting for us somewhere." Rias looked around trying to find the familiar's master.
She had informed the familiar master before teleporting to the familiar forest.
To be honest Shiro was a little surprised by this Rias. In the anime she is described as a spoiled woman? Because of this behavior, Issei also suffered from trauma and Asia experienced a tragic thing. (A/N: Actually, my view of Rias is neutral. I don't hate her, nor i like her. What I don't like is the way she has recruited Issei. She prefers letting him die first and appearing as a savior. And what's more i was a lot influenced by fanfictions where she is described as a b*tch.)
That's why Shiro prefers more Akeno, Rossweisse, Grayfia, Gabriel, Yasaka and Ravel in the anime.
(By the way they are my favorite girls in DXD)
But seeing her different from the anime made Shiro think about adding her in the Harem.
"I'll catch them all!"
Everyone turned their head and saw the person who was shouting.
Shiro who saw the person twitched his lips. He looks like Ash ketchum, 240p version.
(If anyone doesn't know who is Ash ketchum, he's the Mc of Pokemon.)
"I'm known as Master zatouji!" The pirated ash ketchum introduced himself as he stood on the branch of a tree.(A/N: By the way do you guys know ash ketchum's Japanese name is Satoshi. Hmm Coincidence I don't think so)
"Today is a beautiful full moon! The best day to catch familiars!"
"He's a pro at capturing familiars" Akeno explained.
"O-oh" Shiro could only say that.
"Now what Familiar do you want!? " Exclaimed Zatouji to the group. "Strength? Speed? Or maybe some poisonous ability?"
Asia didn't have any reference to the familiar she wanted. "Maybe a cute familiar?" Asia asked zatouji.
"Oh a cute familiar huh? Of course I'll try! And you? What kind of familiar do you want?" said Zatouji then asked Shiro.
"One that is strong and won't be a burden to me. But I'll look for it myself." Shiro said he thought that zatouji might not dare to take him to Tiamat, so he will be going alone.
"Ohh you want to go alone? Well I won't forbid you but let me warn you. In this forest there are many powerful creatures like the Dragon king Tiamat so be careful because, i won't be responsible if you die." Zatouji warned Shiro.
"Of course I'll remember." Shiro said even though he thought Tiamat wasn't stronger than Akane (Ddraig).
Even if he sealed his power to the same level of a heavenly dragon he believed he wouldn't lose to anyone in the DXD world with all his skills, he just had to thought for someone to die.
"Alright then follow me we'll find a familiar for that cute girl." Zatouji said and walked in the lead. Shiro's group followed him.
They encountered a group of insect familiars that Asia didn't want, she didn't even want to go near them.
They kept walking until they saw a lake. Shiro felt this lake was familiar. He then thought about it until he remembered it! This lake is the place of the undine bodybuilders!
'Ugh Do I have to run away? I don't want to see anything like that.'
"In this lake we might get a good kind of familiar, if we're lucky." Zatouji said.
Zatouji stood in front of the lake and waited for a familiar to appear. The familiars will usually show themselves when they discover potential in the people they wanna follow.
Some movement was seen in the lake as a creature like a large Chinese dragon appeared. It has white-blue skin with a white underbelly. It's face is shaped like a snake, with glowing orange eyes, blue horns, and a layer of fur around its head. (Just look at the pictures.)
Shiro was surprised, he thought that he would see the undine bodybuilders but what he saw was a dragon snake.
He used Appraisal on it.

"L-Leviathan!? Everyone run away from here! We can't survive by confronting it! This creature is ranked number 3 in the familiar forest!" Zatouji shouted while running.
'This guy is thinking this creature is just an ordinary Leviathan, but he's wrong this is the queen of her kind. Which means she is the strongest of the Leviathan race.' Shiro thought.
Hearing this they all immediately rushed to leave, except Shiro who remained standing in front of the Leviathan.
"You!! what are you doing! Quickly run away from there!" shouted zatouji, after he saw Shiro hadn't rushed and was still there.
"Shiro-san! Run away!" Asia tried to persuade him.
"Shiro what are you doing run fast!" Rias also reminded Shiro.
"Well don't worry this snake won't be able to threaten me!" Shiro said.
Shiro approached the Queen Leviathan thinking of making her his familiar. Why is he trying to make her familiar you say? Because it's cool.
If he made Tiamat his familiar, it wouldn't be very useful. Tiamat will definitely be his partner Like Akane, if he beats her.
He also thought creating familiar was unpleasant. He can create a familiar as strong as Great Red but what's so interesting about that? Shiro thought of conquering the creature to make it his familiar.
He planned to make familiar like Akatsuki kojou in Strike the Blood, the vampires Familiars were pretty cool and Shiro wanted to make one.
And this Leviathan will be his first familiar. Although it's not comparable to Tiamat.
"ROOOAAR!!" The creature roared and used [Breath of water] at Shiro.
Shiro who saw it just stood there letting the attack hit him.
"Shiro-san!"
"Shiro!"
"Shiro-kun!"
"Senpai!"
They shouted in worry and panic seeing that Shiro was hit by the attack.
The Leviathan Queen thought that the human she attacked was dead and turned her gaze to the others.
"Hey where did you turn your eyes" said Shiro teleporting on the Leviathan's head.
"Take this!" Shiro kicked the Leviathan's head.(You should know from what Anime it's from, right? đ)
"ROOAR!!" The Leviathan roared after being hit by Shiro's attack then she fainted.
"What the hell is that guy! He beat the Leviathan with just one kick!" Zatuji was shocked.
Of course he was shocked because this Leviathan was an ultimate class creature and what's more it was in the water, normally even for a Satan rank it would be a little difficult to handle it.
(A normal Leviathan will only cause Grayfia's level creatures to have trouble to deal with it. But the Queen Leviathan can compete with a Satan class beings.)
"Shiro-San!" Asia immediately hugged him.
The ORC members who were shocked by Shiro's strength also approached him, they were happy that their friend was okay.

I changed my mind, Tiamat will still be in Shiro's Harem but she won't become his familiar but his partner like Ddraig (Akane).
I didn't make Tiamat his familiar because I wants to make something like the 12 familiars of Akatsuki kojou the The Fourth Primogenitor.
Leviathan isn't in the anime either but I added it to make it his familiar.
