"I don't mind, but my brother-in-law is right."
Ryan had now mastered the art of being a schemer. Observing everyone's expressions carefully, analyzing their psychology, and catering to their preferences had become his forte.
Seeing his sister-in-law Sophia's change in attitude, Ryan immediately held his wife's hand and said with a smile, "It's time to buy a car, but I think one won't be enough."
"Let's start with a cheaper one, so Mom and Lily can practice driving."
"If a cheaper one gets scratched or dented, it's no big deal. Once they're more experienced, I'll get two better cars."
Sophia asked curiously, "Why two? If you're heading to work, you and Lily can just carpool. Isn't that convenient?"
Olivia added, "Exactly. A car may be easy to buy, but it's not cheap to maintain. It can cost quite a bit every year."
