Here to stay

Count Agist walked to a window and opened it up to cool his head. He was relieved that he didn't stay in the room with Lillica, but he would be lying if he said he wasn't a little bit curious about what she did.

Thomas and Nicholas were walking down the hall together towards Count Agist, bickering like always. While Count Agist didn't approve of their arguing all of the time, they still worked very well together and he suspected it was because they are much more alike than they let others think.

"I swear I saw a demon!" Thomas shouted at Nicholas

"You're full of it! Someone would've been attacked already if that were true!" Nicholas countered.

"Fine, we'll, just ask Agist what he thinks."

"Call him Count Agist! We're not kids anymore and we have to follow protocol!"

"Quit being such a tight ass!"

"Better a tight ass than a giant gaping ass like you!"

Thomas and Nicholas looked forward and saw Count Agist staring at them with displeasure.

"Apologies milord! You know how he..." Thomas started to say, but changed his mind when Count Agist looked at him without any expression. "My apologies, we let our dispute get out of control."

"As long as you understand... so what is this I heard you talking about a demon?"

"Right milord! I swear I saw light purple skinned female demon leap down from the battlements!" Thomas explained

"And I say he's just seeing things as it is starting to get dark and the shadows can look like many things, plus nobody else saw it and nobody has been found dead." Nicholas countered.

Count Agist thought to himself that Lorraina might've been careless on her way out and he wasn't sure of what to do... Count Agist heard the door to his room open up and he remembered that only Lillica was inside.

About to panic, Count Agist was going to explain when he heard Thomas say "Oh my, milord, we apologize for interrupting your... private time. May we have the pleasure of this divine maiden's name?"

Count Agist saw Lillica walk out and extend a hand politely to Thomas, her body was shimmering slightly so Count Agist assumed she was disguising herself, but he was not affected by it thanks to still having a pure heart.

Thomas took a knee and took her hand in his and kissed it lightly as if she was royalty. Lillica laughed softly and said "You can relax sir knight, I am not nobility so you may dispense with the formalities."

Both Thomas and Nicholas were in a slight stupor and felt themselves blush. Count Agist finally said "Sir Thomas, Sir Nicholas, this is Lady Lillica, she is my... ummm..."

Count Agist let the sentence trail off as he wasn't sure what he should call her.

Lillica strode over to Count Agist and wrapped her arm around his "He is my lover!"

Count Agist's face turned bright red out of embarrassment, or anger, he didn't know which he was feeling right now and thus became flustered.

Lillica laughed and released Count Agist's arm and said teasingly "I'm just playing with you Agi, we're merely old acquaintances, his father knew my father so I wanted to come and offer my condolences after his death and I apologize for it taking so long."

Thomas and Nicholas both nodded in understanding.

"Yes, Agi here isn't very good with people, but his innocence is endearing..." Thomas said chidingly.

"I know! He actually rejected me earlier, it was so embarrassing!"

At this point Thomas and Nicholas's jaws would've hit the ground if they could, seeing Lillica with pale white skin in a long burgundy dress that was cut very low in the front, exposing her voluptuous breasts, and long black hair that was kept perfectly straight, no sane man should've been able to resist her just on looks alone! Her face was what really sucked both of them in. They had never seen yellow eyes and thought she must've been from another land, her full ruby lips sparkled and her facial features looked as if they were painted by a master.

Lillica seemed to be enjoying giving Count Agist this sort of indirect torture, Thomas suddenly blurted out "I would never reject you Lady Lillica!"

"Oh really?" Lillica said as she seemed to turn on her sensuality and walked towards Thomas, she brushed the tips of her fingers against his chest causing Thomas to enter a stupor.

Nicholas initially regretted that he didn't say it first, but after looking at Lillica turning Thomas completely stupid for her, he couldn't help but feel in his gut that she was actually dangerous.

"Thomas, that's not appropriate! She's here to pay her condolences, not flirt with you!"

Thomas seemed to come back to his senses when Nicholas yelled out to him so he scratched his head and said "O-Oh... sorry..."

Nicholas grabbed Thomas by the arm and dragged him away with him while saying "Milord, we'll take our leave now, we have to get ready for tomorrow as do you, maybe see the Lady to back to her room for the night?"

"Thank you Sir Nicholas, we were just about finished anyways so I'll see what she wants to do."

Count Agist watched Nicholas and Thomas leave, then he grabbed Lillica's hand and pulled her back into his room and slammed the door.

"Oh Agi, how'd you know I like it rough?" Lillica said teasingly.

Count Agist let go of her hand when he realized he was still holding it. "What would you do if someone saw you as a demon?!?"

"Oh, are you worried about me sweetie?" Lillica said sweetly while stroking Count Agist's chin.

"Of course not, but it would be a problem if news spread out that I am speaking to a demon and not trying to kill it."

"Ouch, that hurts... what did we ever do to you?"

"Do I really need to explain? You corrupt the minds of men, feed on our weaknesses, destroy our hearts, consume our souls, and want to turn every human in to a demon!"

"What? That's news to me... sure, we've killed a few humans, but we do it for the same reason you kill animals, to eat. We have no need to destroy your hearts or consume your souls... human souls are useless and human hearts become corrupt faster on their own than under the influence of evil demons."

"Regardless, we've long believed it is best to purge the human realm of all demon-kind!"

"Who told you that?"

"Ummm, we were raised with it, it's common knowledge that demons need to be purified or destroyed."

"Purify?" Lillica started to laugh at this "Have you ever seen a demon purified?"

"Of course, my family witnessed it years ago when the church caught a demon and were going to publicly purify it for everyone!"

"And what happened?"

"He was tied to a stake, burned alive and doused with holy water, the white glow around his remains indicated that his soul had been cleansed and he would return to Heaven!"

"I adore your innocence sometimes... I'll just say you shouldn't always believe what others show or tell you."

"Well, I'll keep that in mind, but know I do not trust everything you say either!"

"Very good! You're learning!"

"Shut up! I suggest you leave while you still can, I have plenty to do tomorrow and do not need you messing everything up for me!"

Lillica shook her head and smiled. "Dear Agist, didn't I tell you? Lorraina and I are here to help, we're not going anywhere for a long... long time..."

__________

Outside Lord Hawthorne's manor, a beautiful black haired woman with tattered clothes came up to the knights guarding the manor and collapsed in front of them. The knights ran out and picked her up and she weakly said "Help me... I ran away from Count Agist..." then she passed out again.

One of the knights picked her up and the second one ran in to the manor to address Lord Hawthorne.

"Milord! We've received a woman who said she escaped from Count Agist and is passed out currently after barely making it here!"

Lord Hawthorne's eyes perked up, but he was careful as he realized this could be a trap of sorts so he instead said "Search her body... all of it... if she isn't carrying anything suspicious then put her in a cell with a bed until we can question her when she wakes up."

"And what if she is carrying something suspicious milord?"

"You can dispose of her then, and take as much time doing so as you wish."

The knight gave a perverted grin as he understood what his lord meant by this.

"Understood sir! I will take great pride in completing this task!"
