The aftermath of the battle against Karnath-Gor had left deep scars on both the land and its people. Entire villages lay in ruins, fields were scorched beyond recognition, and the once-proud werewolf clans were scattered and demoralized.

"We need to start with the basics," Wald said as they walked through the debris-strewn courtyard of the castle. "Food, shelter, and safety. Without those, nothing else matters."
