Infiltrating the Dark Tower

Shadowfang Fortress was won, but the war for the very soul of their world was only just beginning. Madison and Wald exchanged a grim look as they surveyed the battlefield. Bodies of fallen werewolves littered the ground, both friend and foe. The air reeked of blood and smoke.

"We can't celebrate yet," Madison said, her voice hoarse from shouting orders. "Karnath-Gor's body vanished. He's still out there somewhere."

Wald nodded, his face streaked with dirt and blood. "You're right. We need to regroup and figure out our next move."

They gathered their remaining forces, tending to the wounded and counting their losses. As night fell, they set up a makeshift camp at the base of the ruined fortress. Madison couldn't shake the feeling of unease that settled in her gut. Something wasn't right.
