"After seeing the puppy eyes of Ace, she couldn't stop herself from reprimanding Diamond. Ace was like a little brother to her. She doted on him the most. Seeing his big eyes filled with hope...

"Why are you always bullying him? If this much had started hurting you, I think you should pack your bags and book the earliest flight possible. Report to the base; you need to train more and raise your endurance power," Leigh said with a commanding voice that only a leader can possess, not showing any remorse on her face. Her eyes sharply gazing at Diamond.

The hair on the back of her neck raised, and she straightened her posture, almost the same as a soldier facing their commander.

She shouted in a uniform pace, "No, boss, I am perfectly fine...; I can even run a mile," Diamond said hurriedly, afraid if she was even a second late, she would have to go back to the base.

She really didn't want to go back. After completing her intense training for three months continuously, she still could feel the ache in her bones. That place was pure torture for her. She shuddered at the thought.

If she was not busy in her training at that time, how could Jack and Spade leave her sight under her watchful eyes?

The first thing she did after completing her training was booking the earliest flight to Narnia country. And this dumb Ace got stuck to her like unwanted baggage, Diamond thought in her mind, giving Ace an intense glare, as if he was the cause of her misery. "If the boss really sends me back, I will make sure to drag him back with me. I will not suffer alone," she thought with a creepy smile.

Ace shuddered at her intense gaze. He was really crying internally. He really didn't remember what he had done in the past that she always targeted him. Just by seeing her creepy smile, he knew she was definitely cooking up a plan to make his life more miserable.

"Diamond," Leigh shouted with a stern expression after seeing her get lost in daydreaming.

Diamond instantly snapped out of her daydream and looked at Leigh's stern expression.

With a sheepish smile, she said, "My lovely Spade, you know, how can a beautiful, sweet lady like me bully a minor?" she said with her most charming smile, while taunting Ace at the same time.

Seeing her demeanor, Leigh's expression softened. "You are not allowed to bully him. I am always watching you," Leigh said, gesturing with her hands, pointing at her eyes.

Diamond said, "Yeah, yeah, your wish is my command," with a dramatic expression.

"Why don't we go to the club to celebrate our arrival and your successful mission?" she said cheerfully, giving a pitiful look to Leigh.

She even dragged Jack and Ace into her drama. After seeing their constant begging to go to the club, Leigh finally raised her hand in the air and said, "Fine. We are going."

"But wait, you can't go like this."

"What now?"

"You... You have to remove this face."

"No! I am not going to remove it," Leigh said with a frown. She couldn't take the risk of someone recognizing her.

"Please! I know you look good in it too. But it doesn't give me the feeling of you. It's like I am talking with a stranger."

"I know you are going to decline, but see what I have for you," she said while waving her hand in the air.

In the Imperial Bar,

The sound was blazing like hell; it was so loud that even talking with another person was hard.

Leigh frowned. "What kind of club have you brought us to? It's not to my liking; the atmosphere here is too rowdy."

"Ah, wait, it is only for show; the real heaven is on the third floor," she said and dragged the uninterested Leigh to the lift that leads to the upper floor.

On the third floor, the atmosphere was less rowdy, but still, all kinds of music were playing there. She saw many third-generation rich heirs in the crowd, playing with their friends and dancing on the floor.

Actually, Leigh didn't like to go to clubs. She rarely goes there. She prefers to train herself more instead of wasting her time in this.

Leigh found herself a spot at the very end where rarely anyone goes and asked for a cocktail from the bartender.

The bartender smiled at her and asked, "You don't have a company; do you want me to arrange someone for you?"

"Oh, okay!" he said and left to make drinks.

She was not here to engage in any conversation. She was really tired from all the hectic work from today.

Now, she wanted to peacefully enjoy her time alone without any disturbance.

But alas, when has God ever listened to her wish? She tiredly closed her eyes, and after a moment with a deep sigh, she looked at her right.

She found herself face to face with a man. The man was staring at her with his deep blue eyes. His eyes were really mesmerizing that she found herself lost for a moment.

"Hello, Miss, I found you here alone, wanna accompany me?" he said with a charming smile.

But Leigh was already lost in her thoughts. She found this man very familiar. Diving deep into her memories, she suddenly remembered where she had seen these eyes. Yeah, she remembered the scene. The man in front of her was someone related to him. The same deep blue eyes. How could she forget him after all? He was one of the names she dared not to forget in her life.

The man stared at her, Leigh; he had seen her from afar. Her beauty was captivating and enthralling at the same time, attracting all the attention to herself. Everyone dared not to go towards her, fearing her rejection, after hearing the conversation between her and the bartender.

She was exuding a calm aura that was soothing for the heart, but at the same time, releasing a "don't approach me" aura too. So hardly anyone approached her.
