"I need to get out of here first." His eyes focused on the narrow passage that led to the exit. He knew he couldn't unleash his full power while burdened with Mia. With a plan in mind, he dashed forward to gain some distance first. He was fast, so it didn't take him long to reach a corner in the passage.
He gently put down Mia, who was now unconscious due to the speed at which they were running.
"I will get back to you after I'm finished. You're a really troublesome woman."Vincent let out a sigh, his frustration evident as he spoke. He wrestled with the desire to be angry with her, but an undeniable softness prevailed within him.
"I'm just too soft when it comes to beautiful girls." A faint chuckle escaped his lips as he admitted. With that, he swiftly turned away and headed back to the hall, determined to end this battle .
