152 Preparation

"Mu Yue, let's go on a date!" Xiao Yan suggested when she heard that Mu Yue got a day off of her schedule.

"A date?" Mu Yue asked, quite unfamiliar with the term.

Xiao Yan replied, "It's us going outside, an example would be around a city, and spend time together!"

"Sure, that was my plan anyway."

"Great! Remember the clothes I showed you which you tried? Wear one after preparing yourself. It's best we dress-up for such an important occasion."

"You will wear one also?"

"Yeah, we will aim to be the prettiest that people will look to when we pass by. Hmm... It might cause some problems but it could be solved by some warm talking."

Mu Yue looked forward to this date. Although Xiao Yan always looks beautiful, knowing that she is preparing for her warms her heart.

Since it was like this, she first went to Liu Yang to see if she was free. She does not have any idea on what preparations she should make, and asking someone knowledgeable should be a good plan.

Opening the door, Liu Yang was surprised to see Mu Yue in front of her room. "What brings you here, Mu Yue?"

"Are you free at this time?"

"Well, depends on how long."

"Umm... I have a date with Xiao Yan and I am supposed to dress up well. The problem is I have no idea to do these. I'm here to ask for help."

Liu Yang's eyes shined as she stares at a new 'toy doll'. Opening the door as much as she can, she invites Mu Yue to enter, "I am free, for as long as it takes to help!"

"Thank you." Mu Yue then entered and heard the door closing.

Liu Yang's room was simple. There weren't many decorations and only the essentials differ from the normal.

"You can sit on the bed, Mu Yue. I'll go get my tools."

"Okay."

Liu Yang quickly opens a storage ring that was hidden in her robes. She has two, one for general use and one for personal use.

Mu Yue stared at Liu Yang who was taking out a box from her storage ring. It was a little bit big, which made her wonder what it contains.

"Mu Yue, appearance is one of the things a girl cares well. So, you must also learn how to look better, not just knowing how to fight." Liu Yang said as she brings the box closer to the bed.

"But, my normal everyday appearance is already good enough."

"Yes, you look good even without doing any effort. But wouldn't it be better if Xiao Yan noticed that you looked better just for her? Wouldn't it feel good to charm and enchant her with your beauty?"

Mu Yue thought about it and nodded. It was the same feeling she had earlier and Xiao Yan could also feel the same. It was also a way of showing that she values her relationship with Xiao Yan.

"However, don't overdo it as doing it in moderation is always the best. It would be wasteful if you spend hours every day just to make yourself look good. Though, it would be fine doing that on an important occasion... which is today hehe." Liu Yang laughed mischievously. It's not every day that she gets to dress up someone with how busy she was in her cultivation. Especially that it's Mu Yue, a friend and someone who really fits the term 'doll'.

"Y-you are doing a similar laugh that Xiao Yan makes when something that I might not like is going to happen." Mu Yue muttered as she slowly retreats more to the bed.

"Am I? Well, don't worry. I won't do anything bad."

"And that's what the bad guys tell."

"Just sit still and be a good girl while I prepare you. Also, did you bring dresses?"

"Yes, Xiao Yan gave some."

"Wonderful. I have accessories here that you can borrow. Hope they will look good on you."

It took hours and to be honest, Mu Yue got bored of staying still. However, a little movement can mess up what Liu Yang was doing which really annoys her and also cause the time needed to be longer hence she has to endure.

"A little bit more and we are done, Mu Yue. Please look at the mirror as it's time to put accessories to you. Say which one you prefer."

"Can the hairpin I'm always wearing be included? It's a gift of Xiao Yan."

"Sure! The hairpin looks good on your light blue and white dress. Even the clothing is of high quality. It looks like something that cannot be produced by the kingdoms here."
