Knowledge about Cultivators

"There are 3 classifications of cultivators. Weapon Cultivators use swords, spears, and other weapon types. Body Cultivators who use their own body as their weapon, only using knuckles, arm guard, and body armors. Spell Cultivators uses the elements and condenses their spiritual energy to attack the enemy.

Weapon Cultivators possess tremendous offensive capability if they master and find a powerful weapon. They generally suppress body cultivators.

Body Cultivators have tough bodies that is why a lot of them are always at the front line. They tend to suppress Spell Cultivators as they have their natural defense against spiritual energy.

Spell Cultivators use elemental spells formed from their spiritual energy to use on offense or defense. They suppress the Sword Cultivators by bombarding them with large scale spells." Tian Min explained while the three images of cultivators were floating in front of Mu Yue.

Tian Min then waved her hand and the three images disappeared replaced by three symbols. A hammer, furnace, and an array was seen floating in front of Mu Yue.

"The first item which is the hammer symbolizes the blacksmiths. They are cultivators who create weapons and armor. The furnace symbolizes the pill makers. They are cultivators that create pills. They are known for their knowledge in medicine that is why they are also termed as doctors. The array symbolizes the array masters. They create arrays like illusion, killing, and protective arrays."

Tian Min then signaled Mu Yue to come closer to her. When Mu Yue was in front of her, she handed her a storage ring.

"Mu Yue, this ring has 10 cubic meters of space. It has treasures that can help you build your foundation. Now, which type of cultivators do you want to be?" Tian Min asked.

"Miss Tian Min, can I choose to be a Sword Cultivator while being a Spell Cultivator?" Mu Yue asked with an expectant look.

"Such thing is possible as a lot of cultivators are like that however as they go to higher stages, they will form their own battle tactics, combining both where they choose a primary supported by their secondary combat profession. Some cultivators choose to have one combat and one auxiliary profession. Why don't you be like them?"

"I wish to possess more combat capability than learning the auxiliary professions. If I wish to have weapons, pills, or arrays, I can just buy them from their creators. I also considered my cultivation method. The Lunar Cultivation Method makes my spiritual energy strong when the moon is visible and I wish to still be strong during the day which is why I wish to be a Sword and Spell Cultivator." Mu Yue replied.

"It is up to you on how you want to progress. Cultivators should follow what they want. Your interspatial ring contains the basics of each profession. You should still read the others as knowing one's enemy will help you with your battles." Tian Min suggested to Mu Yue.

Mu Yue spent a week absorbing the knowledge that Tian Min gave her during the day while cultivating under the moon during the night. Tian Min also told her that due to her constitution, she will always be hunted by men who wishes her to be a human furnace. Having Extreme Yin Constitution will also hinder her cultivation in the long run. Luckily for Mu Yue, the Lunar Cultivation Method addresses these problems and has its own method of preventing others to see her constitution and curing her body of the things she may encounter.

During this week, Mu Yue reached the initial level of 2nd step Qi condensation stage. Tian Min also supervised her, teaching her the things that Mu Yue has a hard time understanding.

"Mu Yue, now that you reached the 2nd step of Qi condensation, it is time for me to teach you how to fight. I will first guide you on how you can control your spiritual energy to turn it to spells. First, you must sense the spiritual energy on your dantian and guide it to your hand."

Mu Yue followed Tian Min's instructions, guiding her spiritual energy to her hand. This process is harder than just absorbing the spiritual energy and guiding it to her dantian as the spiritual energy that she needed to control was refined and denser. She spent three days before being able to guide the energy to her hand without it dispersing.
