Jasper, a lesser deity, nodded in understanding.

"Why did you display fear at the sight of the amulet?" Lucian inquired, sensing a hidden significance.

Jasper seemed surprised. "You aren't aware?"

"During the second epoch, known as the Epoch of Hunt, the Moon Goddess was pursued by every deity. She managed to escape and vanished, remaining in hiding for thousands of years," Jasper elucidated, providing an account of ancient lore.

Lucian mulled over the revelation. The second epoch? That's around 10,000 years ago. She's over 10,000 years old?

"Why was she hunted?" Lucian probed, seeking deeper insight.
