September 16th, Monday:
Lucy Hall roused early, the demands of work pulling her from slumber. She prepared two cups of coffee that awaited her on the table while she tended to her morning routine in the bathroom.
Even after the brisk cold bath, her senses struggled to fully awaken. She sat, sipping at her coffee, lost in thought.
After finishing both cups and stifling a yawn, she left her house, headed for Sunners.
Inside the building, she exchanged greetings with Elivia, the receptionist, before making her way to her room to resume her research.
Her office was strewn with papers in every direction. A newly acquired sizeable table claiming one corner.
Finding her spot in the corner, she seemed deeply engrossed in her work. But in truth, her attention was dedicated to crafting fake assumptions about Victor.
After a time, a resounding knock echoed through the room. "Come in," she called.
