The Secret Behind The Parchment

*Coming live from Jung-Gu, there have been already 12 cases of 'Crimson Lurkers' within an hour of the Blood moon, and the situation seems to be getting out of hand. Ah! yes...we have just got an update from the exterminator's headquarters that 2 Alpha Rank teams would be dispatched to clear out the situation, and Park-Areum seems to be coming to help the military put a leash on the situation.*

Crimson lurkers, the name of the bizarre creatures who came into being 15 years ago when the first crimson moon occurred, the scientist have been trying to find out about the cure of this problem but the only thing they were able to hypothesize was that when the crimson moon occurs it triggers a special phenomenon in the human body which takes control of their DNA and edits it forcefully, that's all humans know about this apocalyptic situation they have to face every week.

The other change the alteration of gene bring was that there were some humans which had the power to resist the effects of the blood moon and because of this on the night of blood moon, their physical prowess also increases dramatically, some people were even able to awaken elemental powers. Though in the early years, the whole world was in chaos, there were monsters everywhere and mankind with their modern weapons had little to no effect of some of the high ranking Lurkers, still, the real problem was not the monsters, but the humans who got drunk in their abilities, after some time with the unification of government all over the world, the situation finally came to a halt. One of the main features of the unification treaty was that the top dogs of the government of respective countries can take a decision for a country through voting, and everyone in that have to follow.

This also lead to the unification of the military, after some years the awakened beings or the humans with the power formed a guild known as 'The Exterminators' which now works directly under the unified government and takes action in accordance with the orders of the government.

Amongst the awaked people, the person with the RhNull blood or so the called the "golden-blood" have powers to turn back the creatures back to humans, but they are very rare with only 8 people in the world with such powers.

"Sigh...So much for the blood of gold."

Mal-Chin is also a person with such blood, but he doesn't have any powers, rather he has to face the cruel fate of the people with the blood of gold. The people with the blood of gold have the absence of Red Blood Cells which causes anemia and they also have abnormalities in their plasma membrane. This is also a reason why he is always been looked down upon.

"He at least should have told me what to do with this goddamn paper." While looking at the paper he was cutting an apple. "Fuck, Ouch! I cut my finger." As he was jumping around his seat crying, some of the droplets of his blood fell on the parchment that his father gave him. "NO!! not the goddamn paper, I still haven't been able to figure out the secret behind this paper, shit." As he held the paper hm his hands he saw the paper absorbed his blood.

"What just happened? The blood vanished without a trace." As he was going to put the parchment back in the drawer, the letters and the symbols started glowing. "Huh? The letters are coming out of the paper! Now that's more like it! I can finally understand these characters." The symbols on the paper started breaking and joining again to form another set of symbols, this was the language Mal-Chin's father learned while researching the stone tablet, he named it the language "Lingua Deorum" or the language of gods, he taught this language to Mal-Chin since he was 2 years old and by the age of 5 he had already long mastered the language.

"Its the language my dad taught me when I was 5 years old, now let's see what it says. Hmm...these are the coordinates in latitudes and longitudes and also a message is written which says that read this when you reach there. I can find it on the internet, huh, it's pretty close to our house only about 3 miles from here."

"Should I go out or not? the blood moon is still there, but I cannot wait any longer, I have already waited for 15 years." Saying that he put on his jacket which was with a hoodie took the set of keys of his house and other stuff and the parchment. "I will be back!" Saying that he dashed down towards the exit.

"*Huff Huff* I am not in the condition to ride a bicycle for such distances, and it's all because of this blood of gold." Because of his physical condition, he was never able to exercise, therefore he had little to no stamina. "Just a bit more. Huh? Isn't this the house where we used to live before Yoo-Ina was born? Is there something left inside?

Thankgod I have all the keys with me In this key holder, he thought to himself. "Now that I think about it he never sold this house, I wonder why?" Saying that he took out the parchment and read the rest of the message which was written there. "In my old room, under my bed? huh, there is a room?" We had a secret room in our house why didn't no one told me about it, ahm I was just 1.5 years old so it does make sense even if they would have told me about it I still have remembered nothing. "According to the parchment, there should be a lever under my bed.

"Yes, there it is, Now all I have to do is push it down *Hupp*"

A staircase opened next to the bed which was leading down.

"Lets, go!" walking down the stairs he heard a ticking sound coming from his right. "It's too dark here, good thing I brought a pocket torch with me." Flashing the light towards the source of the sound he saw a clock still working and a plug, which was unplugged, He again took out the parchment, now another change happened to the parchment, now the words changed and there were only 3 words written on it. "Follow the Clues." "I guess I have to plug this thing back to its source." As he plugged the thing back to its source, the surroundings started lighting up, and slowly everything was visible to him.

"What a big room, the room took space bigger than the whole area of the house." There was a screen in front of him which was not working and the whole room was filled with maps, chemistry equipment and machines which are used to cut and make metal items. But at the end of the room, there was another door which was locked as Mal-Chin approached the door he again took out the parchment and now there was nothing there as if the paper was always blank.

"This seems to be the room where I have to go and see what my dad wanted me to see." As he tried to open the door a buzzing sound was heard, then a voice came from the machine in the right of the door. "Oh, there is a password for this door?" As he saw what was written on the scanner, he was stunned. "I have to give my blood? why would dad set up such a password? He didn't had RhNull blood so why? Was this supposed to for me for the beginning? Whatever the case is I now have to open this thing!" He bit his finger and put that on the glass tray on the scanner, after some time a metallic voice was heard.
