Electra's pov
My eyes shifted to Alex ,his dirty blonde hair was messed up as if fingers where ran through it. His crystal blue eyes watched the tall Barbie in front of him ,with a desire and heat I have never seen.
His hand rested on her hip. "Umm, Alpha, there's been a development!" The tall guard is cut in. Alex's icy blue eyes looked in our direction. "What the fuck is she doing here?" Alex Growled. "She is here to warn us of a threat, sir." He tried to keep it simple.
"She is the threat!" Alex spat out, which made me feel as if my heart was ripped out of my chest. "She is a fucking silver hunter, Cole!" Alex growled. Gasps were heard from the entire pack, and most likely their ally packs were there as well. So on top of being a bloody, half-naked mess, now everyone wanted to burn me at the stake for being a hunter, great!" The guards moved to grab me. "Wait! She needs to hear this first." Alex spoke. Which the guards automatically stopped. "I, Alexander Hayes, reject you, Electra Valentina, as my mate and Luna." Once again, a gasp of shock rang through the crowd. There is no doubt about the well-known name. My mate Mark burned and began to bleed. The wind felt as if it had been knocked out of me. "Alex, I was just afraid to tell you, but…" His growl effectively cut me off. "Just except it!" he growled. I shook, looking into the light pools that looked as if they were going to devour me whole. On many occasions, he just looked disgusted now. "Sir," Cole began." I put my hand up and shook my head. "It's ok, Cole; this is what he wants." I weakly stood to my feet. "I, Electra Valentina, accept your rejection." Alex looked so unaffected; did he ever love me at all? I found myself wandering. "Take her to the basement." He ordered the guards. The guard I had shown the memories to looked like he was going to be sick. "Honestly, whatever they do to me could never compare to what I feel emotionally. So I follow without fighting.
Vaguely, I noticed sparks that gave the coal-black, dingy basement a brief, dim glow of light. A very large man held a control device in his hand.
Intense pain rocked my body as the scent of burning flesh assaulted my senses. The electricity tore through my body. Felt wires on my head and chest as the water dripped down my body. Goosebumps arose as the cold bit into me. Then the electricity increased.
The Increase in current made the flickering sparks brighter.
My body convulsed more as the pain increased. The sound of electricity crackling filled the room. A scream was on the tip of my tongue. Though I opted not to let it pass my lips. The electricity slowly decreased and stopped all together. My body weakly fell against the concrete support beam I was bound to by , thick chains. My eyes felt as if they weighed thousands of pounds, and I couldn't hold them open.
"Wake up, bitch!" The oaf of a man growled. A sting radiated through my face. I opened my eyes weakly, and my vision was blurred.
"What are they planning? What's your part?" He demanded "I told. You, I am not part of the attack; I told you all I know." I responded weakly. "Right, you came to warn us." He mimicked me, clearly not believing me. "I did. I love Alex." I said softly. Then my blood ran cold as I heard the thunder crackling in the sky. Adrenaline shot like fire through my veins as my vision became clear. Knowing they were close was enough motivation.
"That's them. I tried to ask nicely, but I need to get out of here." I hissed only to move, wrapping the chain and binding my hands around the large guard's throat. Kneeing him in the balls. When he leaned forward, clutching his balls, I lifted my leg my to kick him directly in the side of the head. The large man fell out cold. Scrambling to grab the keys, I made quick work to free myself. I Was able to feel them nearing. I ran up the stairs, outside the abandoned structure. Just ahead was the makeshift stage. Running to the archway. Alex was in the middle of his Alpha oath. Tears pricked my eyes; it got harder. To see where I was going. He leaned in, biting a tall blond on the column of her neck. The pain this caused was unexpected and caused me to fall, just as I slid through the archway. Landing a few feet away from them. The mark on my shoulder burned even more. As it began to disappear. I was frozen in pain for a moment. My eyes shifted up as the sky turned a silvery color. "No!" I stumbled to my feet, moving to grab the knife from the podium. Moving to the witch, who stood next to the Alpha, Before anyone could stop me, I pressed the knife to her throat. Growls followed. "Put up a dome, or I'll slit your throat!" I growled. The witch erected a protective dome around the wolves. Just as silver liquid seemed to rain down, "Electra? What the hell are you doing?" I turned to him. You lost the right to worry about anything I do the moment you gave up on me." I spat and ran off the stage. Dodging guards slipping through the wolf dome, as a human, I made it out, but they were trapped. No doubt everyone has seen the electric burns and whiplashes. The only untouched parts of my body were my stomach and back.
A black wolf, In gorgeous detail, took up my entire back. With beautiful blue eyes. . My heart beat
Eraticky in my chest as I moved to the edge of the pack land." I, Electra Valentina, decree that this pack lands safe from any and all creatures or mortals. This includes any and all hunters, as well as flying creatures." I pressed the knife against my flesh. Slit from elbow to wrist, letting the blood flow down to the grass. . The wind picked up as the silver droplets landed on me. Pelting against the dome, as if it were rain against a sunroof,
"May all their enemies be vaporized upon crossing their borders." My vision began to blur. As the crimson fluid poured from my arm onto the grass, it was as if it had a mind of its own. Instead of forming a pool, as it should. The blood formed a line, which started by my feet and began to travel in both directions. Traveling the borders of the pack lands. "For this, I give my life." Gasps of shock were heard, as well as a distant, unfamiliar scream. "No!" The blood traveled the entire way, around to the back of the pack. Once the two lines connected, it looked as if a red-tinted, translucent dome went up in slow motion, around the land.
A wave of energy burst out once it was completely around the pack land. Above, the sky looked like a collage of silky silver, and then, shade by shade, it darkened to that of a storm cloud shade. A crackle of lightning lit up the sky briefly. Giving the bright, silvery-looking moon the illusion of the bottom of it looking as if it were melting. Causing the silver droplets that fell from the sky. Making it look as if the bottom melted on it slowly, dripping down around it. The moon's energy flowed through the blood and back into me. As the blood falling from my wrist turned silver, slitting the other arm from elbow to wrist, just as my vision blurred and the screams of my family were being vaporized, was the last thing I
heard.
