The celebrations in the encampment lasted well into the night, with laughter and music echoing through the forest. However, Emilia, Marcus, and Leander remained focused on their mission. They knew that their victory over Varrick was only a temporary respite, and the true challenge still lay ahead.

As dawn broke, casting a golden hue over the encampment, Emilia gathered her core team for a council meeting. The sense of urgency was palpable, with everyone understanding the gravity of the situation. Elara, ever wise and vigilant, took her place beside Emilia, ready to offer guidance.

"There's no way across," Marcus said, frustration evident in his voice.
