I'll give Nikolai props for being able to free his hands, so that he could drive. Micah laid on his fake brainless, occasionally nipping at his arm like she wanted to go blue him whole. Perhaps I should have checked on her since she had lit her fur up, which should not be normal …. Well I don't know what is normal. The doctor from the radio hadn't said much about animals. And the doctor in Dante's old pack said it was difficult to figure out what each animal would become. Some might just die.
Sighing more, I watched Nikolai as he shakily drove. He was not in the best shape, and I was slightly worried that he wouldn't be able to get us there safely. That is what he gets for feasting on Lunas. Rare but poisonous, that is what we are.
