Chapter 1 A haunting grand opening

E Gadd has just finished construction of a new theme park & has invited Luigi, Mario, Princess Peach, Toad, Toadsworth & Toadette to the grand opening of the park.

The gang are on the bus & ready to finally enjoy theirselves. the bus stops at the destination.

Bus driver Toadston: Alright, we're here, now you guys enjoy yourselves & let me know how it goes, okay.

Toad: We will, thanks for taking us on such short notice.

Toadston: Aw, it was my pleasure, really.

Mario, Luigi & Peach: See you later.

Mario: Okay where to first, I know, the Cafe I'm starving.

Toads: How about the rides or the mirror room.

Luigi: First we'll have to find Professor E Gadd.

Just then Luigi's Switch Wight started to ring.

Luigi: Hello is this E Gadd?

E Gadd: Yes Luigi my boy, meet me at the front gate.

Luigi: But we're at the gate, where are you?

Ominous voice: Ha ha as I expected. You're so gullible.

Luigi: Who is this?

Luigi hears a ticking sound, it's getting louder & louder.

Peach: What's going on Luigi?

Toads:What's that noise supposed to mean?

The noise stops & a few seconds later spring loaded panels underneath our Heroes, the princess & the toads launch them into the theme park. Luigi, Peach & Toad in the Left side of the park. Mario, Toadsworth & Toadette were launched into the right side of the park.

An Ominous voice plays over the intercom.

Ominous #1: Luigi I've been waiting for you & your little band of misfits. I'll be inside the Hall of mirrors. Don't keep me waiting Ba ha ha ha!

Luigi nervously heads over towards the Hall of mirrors.

At the same time Mario heard a similar message.

Ominous voice #2: Mario you shall meet me near the Rollercoaster or else. I have your precious little princess.

Mario heads to the Rollercoaster with caution & an uneasy feeling.

Ominous voice #1: Ba ha ha ha ha, I see you but can you see me?

Luigi sees a dark shadowy figure on the mirrors & proceeds to flash his light to stun whatever it is.

Luigi: Okay make sure you stay behind me.

Ominous voice #1: Ba ha ha ha ha!

Luigi: You guys okay?

Luigi turns around to find Peach & Toad trapped inside portraits.

Luigi: Who are you, show yourself.

Ominous voice #1: Have you already forgotten me? Well now that those nuisances are out of the way we can proceed to the battlefield, where I can have a little fun before I put you in a portrait.

Luigi is transported into a strange place with blue & purple mist acting as visual barrier.

King Boo reveals himself.

King Boo: Let's start the showdown!
