Chapter 66- Danger

Huge waves of water shot from all directions at the ship, resulting in waves as tall as houses clashing against the ship and wreaking havoc across the deck. While Momonga was occupied trying to regain his balance, Nami flew to the sky with the jet Dials strapped to her back in preparation for the next step of her plan.

Not even a moment later, the Skypieans switched Dials, and streams of lightning shot towards the ship. Momonga realized the plan a second too late, and he couldn't avoid the attack now. However, he refused to go down alone. Momonga threw a nearby broken wooden plank at Nami, who couldn't react.

The plank hit Nami's head, knocking her out, but that was not the end. The momentum of the plank carried over to Nami, making her spin upside down with her jet Dials propelling her downward even faster. Momonga watched in satisfaction as he prepared to go down with his enemy.

"Bring her out!" Franky yelled at the Galley-La employees who started to bring a huge ship out of a bonker. For the last couple of weeks, immediately after he joined Luffy and until this very moment, he worked on his masterpiece.

The ship was a hundred and fifty meters long, and fifty meters across. A hundred cannons shined from their place, along with other weird contraptions. In some places, if one looked closely, some of the wood was cut in a weird shape, and it looked like a puzzle piece fitting into place. The huge masts had small cabins ontop for the lookout. The ship's color was a mix of red and orange, and the figurehead was that of a lion biting out as if lunging on its prey. On top of this behemoth of a ship, lied the Straw Hat flag.

Franky jumped onto the ship the moment he could, and he ran into the hall. Inside, there was a bord with many buttons. After contemplating for a bit, he pressed one. The ship was bearly in the sea when the hall opened up. The sound of gears turning could be heard as a big piece of Adam Wood suddenly slid into the hall, revealing a weird, giant, cannon behind it.

A button glowed red, and Franky pushed it. Light began to condense into a small spark inside the base of the cannon, and slowly but surely, the spark began to grow.

Robin flew across the battlefield without stop. Her job in this fight was to take care of the cannon fodder. She continuously flew between the ships with giant wings made from armes, and anytime she spotted a crew member or a group of Skypieans struggling she would make an AOE attack to take down the enemies. To make it difficult for her opponents, she made clones across different ships to cause confusion.

"Take out the Devil Child!" Robin heard a Marine Vice-Admiral order desperately as he pointed at her. Countless Marines prepared to fire as they got into position, but Robin was quicker. On the back of every single Marine, two arms sprouted. And with a sickening crack, countless Marines' bodies fell to the floor.

"Such brutality, the nickname "Devil child" certainly suits you." A man that had four X-shaped scars on his face and two on his neck spoke. He had a split, curling mustache, and brown flowing hair reaching down to his shoulders. He was blind in a single eye. His Marine coat, draped on his shoulders like a cape, had stripes across it in a zig-zag pattern. Underneath his coat, he sported an outfit reminiscent of those worn by naval officers in the 1600's, composed of a loose shirt with rope-like ornaments on it and suit pants. {I love wiki descriptions}

"Vice-Admiral Doberman, I believe we haven't had the pleasure of meeting yet." Robin ignored Doverman's provocation. "You seem to lack any care for your subordinates' well-being." Robin retorted with a taunt of her own. "No use worrying over dead weight." Doberman simply responded. "Really embodying the Marine spirit, aren't you," Robin said in a sarcastic tone.

"The Marines have no need for weaklings," Doberman simply stated while unsheathing his katana. "It is quite ironic that a pirate shows more sympathy to your own troops than you do, is it not?" Robin got into a fight stance of her own as she continued to argue with Doberman. "But wasn't it you who killed them in the first place?" Doberman replied while covering his blade with Armament Haki. "That makes it all the sadder," Robin concluded the argument as she summoned clones.
