chapter 12- crew (part 1)

I checked where Zoro for quite a while with my haki before finally finding him. Zoro was on some island killing pirates for their bounties, I totally forgot that Zoro used to do this sort of stuff. I was so excited that I ditched the boat and just flew at max speed toward him {like in gear four}.

When I arrived on the island Zoro had already killed the pirates and was heading towards the nearest marine base which was coincidently on this island, as Zoro was walking I landed in front of him and just asked him to join my crew. didn't have any elaborate plan to make him join it was just to ask him, and if he says no, challenge him.

As a swordsman his pride won't let him decline and then he will be my right-hand man. "join your pirate crew? I don't know if you noticed, but I hunt pirates not join them", as expected Zoro declined my invitation "then I challenge you, if I win you join my crew and if I lose I won't bother you again".

"you just said you only started this piracy thing, you don't even have a ship, yet you want to challenge me?", Zoro asked me but I knew how to get his attention. "I may be new but you shouldn't underestimate my strength. If you need proof, here is what I can do".

During the conversation, I realized that maybe it wouldn't be the best idea to fight Zoro since I would need to hold back so much that one of two things will happen, either I fail to impress him to the degree I want or I end up seriously injuring him and maybe killing him accidentally.

So the best option was to amaze him with overwhelming power. When I finished the sentence I used my conquerors haki. Suddenly the ground started to crack and the trees compressed into themselves, while Zoro himself was feeling just enough pressure that he won't pass out. I intentionally put on a show so that he will have a visual representation of what I can do.

"So do I win?" I asked him and waited to the answer while he was recuperating from the mental damage when Zoro recuperated and heard my question he just stared at me.

"..."

"*sigh* I admit defeat if I fought you after seeing that I would be a mad man" Zoro said. "YES! so from now of you're my right-hand man, now, let's take these pirates ship and go to the next destination" after Zoro joined me we went straight to the restaurant Sanji worked at, but as if by fate, Nami was looking for new victims and she looked at our ship and judged that we will be her next victims.

Nami pretended to drown so Zoro rescued her since I can't swim, "thank you! I was about to drown until you save me can I repay you in some way?" she said while making her "parts" more visible, I don't know why she did that, maybe she thought that Zoro and I were those kinds of pirates? I guess that normally two guys that were in the sea for some time will not be able to resist. Shame that neither Zoro or me gave a damn.

"sure, if you want to repay us be out navigator" I said, glad that I won't have to check my target's location with haki every couple of minutes. "We are currently on our way to Baratie so for your first navigation please take us there", Nami seemed surprised for a second, guess she didn't expect us to be nice pirates.

"On it captain" she replied while taking the wheel. After a few days of sailing and bonding, we arrived at the restaurant just in time to see Don Krieg prepare to go to the grand line. I walked into the restaurant and saw Sanji serve a couple of people their meals.

Suddenly, I remembered that the only reason Sanji joined us is because of the sudden attack of Don Krieg and how we defended the restaurant. 'I need an opportunity' I thought while trying to come up with a solution to the problem. In the end I decided to wait a couple of days to bond with Zoro and Nami and then "accidentally" brake the roof of the restaurant.

Needless to say, the moment Nami heard of the number of berries that were needed to fix the roof I ended up getting beaten and made to work while she relaxed or something. Zoro just trained since he knew we would be stuck there for some time. now I can only hope that Don Krieg will hurry up and get destroyed so I can recruit Sanji, but on the other hand it has been a long time since I ate this much good food.
