Lucky with The Stranger

“AHHHH” the girl screamed loud enough for anybody close to hear “Shhhh, I’m not going to hurt you”. There was a window nearby only allowing a tiny amount of light in behind the man, he was tall, black hair, blue eyes with a hint of purple in them. He wore a black loose shirt with grey skinny jeans. Although it was dark, she could tell that he didn’t look normal only by seeing a little bit of him. “Who are you?” The girl still scared and confused as to what the man was doing in the house. “It doesn’t matter who I am”

Meeting the King and Queen (2)

I was nervous, I haven't had breakfast with Wyrran alone before and I was dressed in such a beautiful dress. Ziva was walking in front of me and I kept falling behind, every now and then she would have to call out and wait for me to catch up, I kept on apologising and Ziva laughed it off every time, giving me nudges and making fun of me.

Eventually we arrived and a guard was standing outside Wyrran's quarters. Ziva went up to the quard and they exchanged words with each other.

"Prince Wyrran, Miss Alicia Lawson has arrived and is ready to enter." the guard said with a straight face, he turned and looked at me and gave me a a disgusted look. "Please, come in, Alicia", Wyrran had appeared behind the opened door and I snapped out of my thoughts about the guard, 'what was that look for?'.

Walking over to Wrryan, both Ziva and the guard had left while I curtsied, "Your highness, Wrryan". I felt his hand grab mine and kiss the back of it, "Please rise. Come, lets go in and have breakfast, my dear.". I slowly followed behind and sat after my seat was pulled out. We spoke of trivial things, about how if we slept alright, politics which I was not great in, he laughed at this fact and went on about our kingdoms.

"Are you ready for today?", I looked up from my food and stared at him, "I am.", looking back at what was on my plate, salad and a few other things, I continued "I'm not overly sure if they will like me, I have never met them and nor have they me. I hope all goes well." I smiled, well, tried to but it must of looked like a cat being dragged around trying to please the owner, smiling.

He winced at my ever so smile, "I'm sure everything will be fine, and they will like you. You're quite well knowledged... apart from politics." he laughed at his own sentence, and grinned ear to ear, "I'm sure they'll love you.".

I turned away, I felt my face change to red, and looked down at my food, trying to focus on poking a piece of tomato without falling off the fork and eating it, which it would not get caught and so I gave up and went for something easier to eat. 'I want this over with already, please God, help me', I pleaded in my mind, all hoping to come true. Taking a peek, I noticed Wyrran was eating again, looking up, I took in his room. It was larger than mine and was a different colour, it had a welcoming vibe with the cream walls with gold lights. There was an adjoining room, which look like to be his bedroom from where I was sitting.

An hour or so had passed and we were now back in the garden, we were both silent except when one was to make small talk. We remained this way for a while. The sky was bright and was cloudless, the weather was becoming warm. Lost in looking at my surroundings, something bumped into me with force, knocking me onto the ground.

"Sorry, sorry Miss. Please, let me help you up!". Cautiously, I reached out for his hand and got up, making sure I was okay, I spoke, "It's all fine, no harm done, I believe it is my fault as I was not looking where I was going.".

The boy smiled and noticed Wyrran's presence, "Your highness" he said when bowing down. Wrryan made a small command he said to me before breakfast. "Were you after anything in particular, Saleh?".

"Yes, of course. The King and Queen have requested Miss Alicia's presence, alone."

"Alone?", I was shocked, and started to feel uneasy in the stomach. Wyrran must have noticed myself being startled and tapped my shoulder, "Remember, all will be fine, I believe in you.", his reassurance was appreciated and I smiled at him, "Thank you, Wyrran. I'll be going now. Meet you later?" I asked, wondering if that may happen once again, "Of course, Alicia."
