Inventory, Woo-hoo!

I showed up at the store to do inventory. I hung up my coat and made my way to the stockroom. The store had closed, so it made it more accessible. I found Grayson in the stockroom.

I walked over to him. /"I’m here./"

He stopped and looked at me. /"You seem better./"

/"Are you saying I had looked terrible?/" I arched an eyebrow at him.

/"No, but you looked unwell. You seem like you’re getting better./"

/"I’m feeling much better./"

I smiled as he handed me a clipboard. Music played on the radio. I moved back and forth as I counted. I bobbed my head back and forth as I wrote the numbers down, humming to the song Sweet Caroline.

Grayson chimed in with me. We both sang as we wrote the numbers on the inventory sheet. We moved in the formation, moving towards each other. A song part came on as we turned and sang.
