Chapter Sixty three- Dissension

"Hi, Carina."Frederick sounded off, with his free arm, resting strongly on his hip. The light from the moon, made his bare body glisten, casting his grotesque shadow on the wall.

"Shomer!" Carina squealed excitedly. "I almost thought you would never reach out."

"Didn't know I would catch you awake."

"I don't get to enjoy such luxury. Not when there is a lot to do."

Like wreaking havoc in people's lives.

Frederick thought… but he didn't say it out loud. He cut to the chase, ignoring her comment. "I think, I am ready to meet the tribe."

"You think?"

"You damn well know what I mean." Frederick replied, tersely. "I am not cut out for your mind games now."

"Hmmm… okay. So, what changed your mind?"She asked, suspiciously. "I was of the opinion that you needed a little more… motivation."

The motivation was just more trouble, nothing to look forward to.
