Chapter Forty-seven – Stacey’s rescue mission

As the plane touched down in San Diego, Fredrick, Henry, Louisa, James, and Susan rushed to disembark. Their anxiety was palpable, and they couldn't wait to get to Stacey's Location.

"Come on, Let's go!" Fredrick exclaimed, leading the way.

"I've got the car waiting," James announced, already on his phone. "I contacted the rental service while we were at the hangar back in Los Angeles. They should be here by now."

As they stepped out of the airport, a sleek black Jeep Grand Cherokee caught their attention. A young man in a bright yellow vest waved at them.

"James Brown's party?" he asked, looking between them.

James nodded, removing an ID to show to him.

"Okay sir, if you'll just sign here…" He handed James a book, and after James appended his signature on him, he released the key to the car. "Here's your ride. The tank is full, and ready to go."

"Thank you." James replied, taking the key and tossing it to Fredrick.
