You're Going To Get Us Killed

" Oh, my angel you finally called me... Did you miss me " Lucifer said as his lips pulled up to a smile.

" Really.... That's what you're going to say " Skyler said angrily.

" What do you want me say then "

" Where the fuck are you right now "

" I'm at work.... don't you want to ask me or tell me anything "

" Get the fuck back here now "

" Really.... did you know who you're talking to " Lucifer said, if only she knew that she was talking to the devil on the phone she would have ended the call instantly.

Who in their right mind would want to talk to the devil over the phone and be comfortable with it.

" I don't f*cking care, get over here this instant and.....ahhhh " suddenly Skyler screamed over the phone.

Her scream was so loud that Lucifer had to take the phone out of his ear and put it back. The smile on his face diappeared " What happened....why did you scream so loud like that " he said in a panic voice.

" I... I'm hurt... I feel pains all over my body" Skyler said in a low voice as if she was fainting " please come back quickly " she said and ended the call with a big smile in her face.

While talking to Lucifer over the phone, an idea popped into her head. She thought that if she acted as though she was hurt, he would come back to the mansion and then he would have no choice but to take her home.

' Smart Skyler ' she said in her mind while clicking her tongue.

But then, she realized she was still tying a towel over her body, she couldn't let him see her naked with only a towel wrapped around her body.

She glanced at the clean blue shirt on the bird, she bit her lips in frustration. She didn't want to wear his T-shirt but then she had no choice and the shirt smells like vanilla, her favorite ice cream.

Remembering her favorite ice cream, she thought of Mr Wesley, he too must be worried of her as he hadn't see her for the last five days.

Inhaling deeply, she finally put on the blue shirt which was two times bigger than her infact it was reaching her knees, the sleeves of the shirt was longer than her actual hands.

" Really, how big are you " Skyler said.

She decided to roll up the sleeves so her fingers can be visible atleast, she searched the room for the hair dryer as her hair was still dripping wet.

But she didn't find the hair dryer, and she didn't want to call the servants. She decided to use the towel to dry her hair when the door busted open with Lucifer walking towards her with panic visible in his eyes.

EARLIER

After Skyler ended the call, Lucifer felt like he was about to lose something so precious to him, the way her voice sounded faint on the phone and as she whimpered softy.

He could not think of anything else apart from to be close to his other half right now, at the same time Jared entered the office with a tired expression on his face.

" Jeez I'm so tired... Uh why are so in a hurry, did anything happened " Jared asked seeing the cold expression on Lucifer's face.

" Yes ,something happened to my half..... Stay here till I return..... Give me my keys "

" What happened " Jared asked as he threw the car keys to Lucifer who caught it and walked out of the office immediately towards the parking lot.

Jared could only sigh when Lucifer didn't answer him, he wondered what happened to his half. He hadn't gotten the chance to see her clearly this morning before going to the company with Lucifer.

He had pleaded with Lucifer to just let him see her face atleast but the sturbborn devil had threatened him instead saying she was bathing and if he saw any part of her body that he was going to pluck his eyes out.

To avoid his beautiful yet fake green eyes to be plucked out as he knew Lucifer meant what he said, he didn't bother to see the mysterious girl again.

He sat on Lucifer's chair and saw the unfinished work " really, pity me atleast I can't keep on doing your work for you " he said.

There was a knock on the door of the office " come in " he said and a young woman in her twenties walked in. She was wearing a white shirt over a black pencil skirt.

Her brown hair was parked neatly into a high ponytail with a clean round glass resting on the bridge of her nose. She had a polite smile on her face " Excuse me Sir " she said.

" What is it " Jared said not looking up to the young woman.

" Sir , I wanted to remind Mr Lucas about the meeting he's having in the next twenty minutes " the young woman said.

" Ok, you can leave " Jared said to see her leave closing the door behind her. While she was out of the office she released the breath she didn't know she was holding. She had a crush on Jared as he was a handsome man with a beautiful and flirtratious smile.

Before getting into the office, she had pulled her skirt up and opened the top buttons on her shirt which now exposed a bit of her cleavage, but then when she entered the office, the man did not even look up at her even a bit.

Meanwhile in the office, Jared wanted to cry because he knew in the next twenty minutes Lucifer won't be back so he would have to attend the meeting on his behalf.

" Just kill me already " he said resting his head on the table, but then he can't die as he was demon pretending to be human.

Meanwhile Lucifer was driving like a crazy person, his mind won't be at rest if he didn't see his half feeling better.

He almost caused accident on the road as he over took the other drivers driving along side with him on the road and received curses but he didn't care as his mind was on one person. He would have just disappeared right into the his room but then he didn't want to expose himself just yet.

Finally when he got back to the mansion, he didn't park his car well, he got out immediately half walking and half running towards the mansion.

Didn't bother himself to knock on the door, he used his powers to open the door by only touching the door knob and entered into the mansion.

The servants in the house were shocked to see their master back by noon as he always return back late in the night. The male servants who are the ones in charged of the door were surprised cause they had locked the door after their master left.

Or had they forgetten to lock the doors ?

Was it today they were going to lose their job ?

" Welcome back master " they greeted but Lucifer ignored them and walked to his personal elevator going up to his room.

As soon as he got to his room, he didn't wait for anything as he opened the door with force and found his half drying her wet hair with the towel.

PRESENT

He walked fast towards her and held her shoulders gently inspecting her with worried eyes " are you alright " he asked.

" Yeah I'm fine... Do I look like I'm sick " Skyler said trying to hide the smile on her face as her plan had worked out perfectly.

" Are you sure.... Where does it hurt "

" I'm fine, nothing is wrong with me " she said.

" But..... your voice sounded weak over the phone " Lucifer was confused now as she truly seems fine.

" Oh that.... It was just an act " Skyler laughed.

" An act "

" Yes an act to get you here " she said.

Lucifer then released her shoulders and scanned her from head to toe, he was flabbergasted " you mean to tell me you pretended to be in pains so you can get me here huh " he said.

" Uh.. yes "

" You're really a good actress I must say " Lucifer finally relaxed as he saw that she was perfectly fine but he was not really happy as she had made him worried about her.

" Of course I am... So where are the clothes you said you'd give to me cause I have to be on my way home right now " she said when she saw that he was smiling while staring at her.

" What "

" Who knew that my shirt would look so good on you " Lucifer said .

" I had no choice but to wear it " Skyler said rolling her eyes when she saw him walking closer to her and she moved back out of instinct, her leg hit the bed which made her sit on it.

" What are you doing " she said.

" Nothing " he said as he was close to her, he raised his hand and touched her hair which was still wet " Why didn't you ask the servants to get you my hair dryer, do you want to catch a cold "

" I... I was drying my hair before you came "

" With a towel, wait here " he said

He left and another minute he was back with a hair dryer in his hand. He stood right in front of her again as she was still sitting on the bed.

" What do you want to do " Skyler asked.

" What does it look like I'm doing "

" I can do it myself "

" I was the one who went to get the hair dryer so I'll do it myself , now sit still " he said.

Skyler let him do it as she was going to leave him soon, Lucifer dried her hair with care, he was focused as if it was a big task. After drying every inch of her hair, he finally stepped back to see his work.

Feeling satisfied he dropped the hair dryer on the bed " all done " he said.

" Thanks, so what about the cloth you said you'd give to me " Skyler was tired of repeating it over and over again.

" Haven't I already given them to you already "

" Of course not " Skyler wanted to punch him so hard.

" Didn't you like the shirt "

" What... Do you mean that your shirt are the clothes you want to give me " Skyler said with shock.

" Yes of course "

" What ??? How am I suppose to wear this home, you've got to be kidding me right "

" I'm serious , there are no female clothes here, so I thought my shirt would look good on you and I was right "

" Argh really "

" But I like you in my shirt , you look so cute in it "

" Who said I like you, you don't even know me, you just kept a stranger in your house for five days though I'm greatful for your help but ....."

" Shhh " Lucifer shushed her , he was hurt when she said she didn't like him but he didn't show it on his face " let's go "

" Huh to where "

" To get you new clothes and get you home " he said, he wasn't angry but there was no smile on his face.

" Huh now "

" Didn't you say you want new clothes just now "

" Yes but.. "

" Come let's go "

" But I have no shoes to wear and.... "

" Don't worry we'll take my car "

" Oh "

Lucifer walk up to the door and opened it for Skyler to step outside and when she was out, she was greeted with the beautiful view of the mansion.

She hadn't stepped out of the room ever since she woke up, just how rich he was to have such a luxurious mansion, the servants could be seen in every corner of the mansion doing one thing or the other.

They all had their heads down, Skyler could see the three maid servants who wanted to bath her before she had sent them away.

They didn't use the elevator as they came down the stairs one step at a time. Skyler couldn't stop her eyes from looking around the mansion. Her eyes caught sight of the paintings on the wall, in some of the paintings were angels falling from the sky.

There was one which had a man with long blonde hair, red eyes, he was sitting on a throne with a cup on his left hand.

He was so beautiful with a gorgeous smile but his eyes which were red looks evil, Skyler tore her eyes away from the painting to the next one.

Lucifer followed her behind quietly, he knew she was staring at the paintings, one day when the time was right he would let her know what those paintings means.

Now was not the time, they finally got to the last step and was now heading towards the entrance door. Before they could reach the door, the male servants already opened it for them.

Skyler finally stepped out of the big wide mansion after five days, she breathed the fresh air with her eyes closed.

" Come " Lucifer said to her and she followed him immediately.

Skyler saw a black SUV in front of them, she watched him open the door for her so she could get in " thanks " she said and got into the car.

When Lucifer and Skyler finally got into the car, he drove out of the mansion. He was still in his suit and Skyler was still wearing his shirt.

She sat at the front seat as Lucifer was the one driving the car, there was a deafening silence in the car as Lucifer focused on the road.

Skyler stared at him and wondered what was going on his head right now, he wasn't smiling like he normally does.

Deciding to strike a conversation between them " why ain't you smiling " she asked not that she cares but then his smile was charming.

" You missed my smile already huh " he said not looking at her.

" I didn't.....it just that... "

" I have a gorgeous smile and you missed seeing it right " Lucifer said and finally turn to look at her.

" Oh please I didn't.....oh my God look out " Skyler gasped when she saw a car coming at their direction.

Dodging the car he continued to stare at her and Skyler thought there must be something wrong with him.

" Can you please look at the road "

" I like what I'm looking at "

" What... You're going to get us killed "

" Then we will die together " and go to hell where we belong, he said that part to himself. Thankfully she couldn't hear his thoughts.

Skyler was shocked to hear what he just said as she stared wide-eyed at him ' DIE TOGETHER ' .
