The sister is sleeping in her bleak but well-furnished apartment.Her alarm clock hits 2:00 pm in the afternoon; RING RING RING! Her eyes bloodshot and hollow,she wakes up with a weary face.She usually woke up late and the alarm was just in case she ever missed out on anything important due to her weekly acid trips and well because it's quite common for a Lucidville citizen to lose one day of theirs without realizing they did.She gets herself some orange juice and bananas dipped with chocolate and some edible cocaine sprinkled on it to kick-start her day only to have her plans halted by the television news which shows her dead brother's body found in a dumpster. She stares in horror as she realizes the only person left to care about her is herself.Bewildered,she has an emotional breakdown and passes out on the sofa.

It's 7:24 pm.The rain has continued throughout the whole day and is now accompanied by the tearing sound of rumbling thunder.The doorbell rings; Ding-Dong , Ding Dong! .The emotionally tired sister wakes up and goes to the door to find two men in trench coats.One of them comes forward to introduce themselves: "Greetings Madam,We have an unspecified property of an Miss Alandra Lopes which is to be given to her in full confidence if she agrees to an agreement proposed to her by The Agency that is giving her an invaluable gift".Alandra doesn't say anything and signs the agreement without a single glance knowing that her cocaine eyes are going to cause her nothing but pain and well if this were to happen in the other states, people might make out two men in trench coats handing out gifts by making people sign mysterious agreements to be notorious and satanical but the citizens of Lucidville couldn't care any less about their souls being sold to the Devil.The two men hand over a sleek aluminum box to her and leave.

Alandra hurriedly puts the box on the dining table and examines it; There's a note on the left corner that reads: Soul Of Osvaldo Lopes.

There's another note on the right corner that reads: This box only opens to the word that you said to the departed the most. All of a sudden, Alandra finds herself thinking about the times she spent with her brother and starts to wonder if she would ever actually know the answer to that.It isn't until she remembers that she was far more dependent on drugs then her brother that she realizes what the answer is.She goes over to the box and taps on the handle lock, An AI greets her and asks her the password. Alandra dishearteningly says "Leave Me Alone".The lock clicks and the box opens to reveal a bright yellow swirling ball of energy which makes Alandra feel overjoyed because she now knows that her brother died a good man as the color yellow signifies an uncorrupted soul.Alandra puts her brother's soul alongside her husband's in a private display in her basement and calls it a night after smoking some weed drenched in melancholy.

The next day in the state of Lucidville turned out to be an astonishing one for every citizen who signed the agreement thoughtlessly as the whole mysterious agreement thing turned out to be an effective plan to prohibit the family of those who were considered a threat to The Agency's plans from reviving them by placing their souls in the newly released synthetic humanoids.Alandra went for shopping by the time The Agency's men were sent to inform every home about anything that concerns the humanoids.On her way back home, Alandra feels a huge gut-punch when she enters her neighborhood and finds her neighbor Mr. Kowalski strolling in the park with his newly revived mother who died four years ago.Alandra had seen the billboards and holgraphic advertisements for the synthezoids for some time now but she never believed people would go for an experience that she personally despised owing to the fact that it would be disrespecting the dead ones and it just wouldn't be fulfilling. Curiosity strikes her as she rushes back to the market and gets herself a customizable humanoid which costs her more than her apartment. Alandra doesn't buy one for her husband because she's already made her peace with him and she is dying to get some answers from her brother considering the obscure nature of his death.

Alandra reaches home to find the same two men from yesterday who inform her: "Miss Alandra Lopes, we are here to remind you that the soul that was assigned to you due to blood relations is prohibited to be used in the newly experimential synthezoids and we have a warrant to arrest you if that forthcoming situation happens again.This will be your only and final warning to adhere to the rules you agreed upon and the violation of these rules will be met by severe punishment by the State of Lucidville and it's societal and military benefactor The Agency". A shell-shocked Alandra stands still, the only emotion on her face is of disbelief. One of the men barks in a patronizing manner: "We will cut you some slack because you looked quite high and beat up that night and we can understand you never knew what you signed up for". The men start laughing and order their roboldiers to seize the humanoid for deconstruction. Alandra asks "What about the refund, it cost me more than either of you could earn your whole life"? The two men stare in amusement and bark: "It's a good thing you reminded us to tell you that it would not be a good thing at all to go up the guy's ass who sold it to you because the Rask Force is keeping tabs on prohibited customers and considering what we've heard they do to humans I think you should consider all those expenses to be your blood money". They leave, babbling to themselves.Alandra returns to her depressing apartment and tries to forget everything that happened for the past week but alas, it only makes her more erratic and she decides to do something which a human either does when they don't get answers or the answers they get are the ones that they don't want.

Its 2:30 am. People are either OD-ing or fucking each other's brains out so it's a safe bet you can almost get away with anything at this time. Alandra sneaks into Mr. Kowalski's home by the kitchen door and sneaks in, tip toeing her way in hopes to abduct the humanoid mum. She enters a dim-lighted living room. Across a digital snooker table,she finds a figure standing tall engulfed by darkness. Alandra steps closer and sighs in relief when she realizes it's the humanoid only to find out it has been turned off and someone is behind the looming figure. Nearing the figure, Alandra hears a man moaning and violently moving behind the humanoid. Alandra feels disgusted as the realization hits her that it's Mr Kowalski and he has been using the synthezoid as a sex toy.She hides in a corner and waits for the guy to finish the act.After a while, an exhausted Mr. Kowalski goes to get himself water which gives Alandra the ideal opportunity to sneak in the humanoid but it is certainly not as easy as it is in her mind.The synthezoids weigh the same as an obese man with drinking problems so the only way she can really take it back home with her is if she turns her on.While Alandra is still figuring out her master plan,she hears Mr. Kowalski's footsteps getting closer to the living room.Having almost forgotten about him,she panicks and hides behind a table just in time.Mr. Kowalski unzips his pants and is about to get some good synthetic ass humping before Alandra breaks a vase on his head knocking him out.She turns on the humanoid after she hides the body of Mr. Kowalski and having the knowledge about his mother being a medical nurse, she speaks to her in a helpless manner: "Hey, Miss Berta my brother's health is at risk, he needs your immediate assistance you must come with me now there's not a single sober health worker in this state working a midnight shift.I wouldn't ask you if it wasn't important".Miss Berta agrees and Alandra feels overjoyed knowing that this is going to work and she's finally going to be reunited with her brother.
