Yi Lin noticed Sun Jing's presence and queried him about the method to conquer the first trial against the lightning Gargoyle. Sun Jing scratched his head, offering a sheepish grin. "Luck was on my side. I happened to hit it with the cross accidentally." Zhang Min burst into a fit of laughter, astonished by Sun Jing's audacious tale. "I apologize," she managed to say between her laughter, attempting to regain her composure. However, both Yi Lin and Lin Yi Feng appeared to take Sun Jing's response at face value, much to Zhang Min's surprise. "What a coincidence. I thought I was the sole beneficiary of good luck," Lin Yi Feng confessed, admitting that he too had fortuitously dispatched the lightning Gargoyle and cleared the initial trial.
