13 Handsome Man

"Qin Yao, you looked nice today," Auntie Yu said as she walked in into the cafe. She looked at the outfit her employer was wearing and smiled with approval.

Li Qin Yao's smile widened as she heard Auntie Yu's compliment. "Thank you, Auntie Yu."

Mei Xuan gave her friend a sideways glance "Judging from that outfit and that smile on your face, I bet she got a date with her boyfriend later on."

"Chen Hao will come and pick me later for lunch. How did you know?" Li Qin Yao placed both hands on her cheek.

Mei Xuan clicked her tongue at Qin Yao's expression. "You're already this old, and you still want to act like a schoolgirl."

Auntie Yu laughed at her comment. "What's wrong with acting cute when you're in love. Are you jealous because you haven't gone on a date with your husband for a long time?"

"Don't mention it," Mei Xuan sighed. "I haven't been on a date with my husband after our son was born. In the beginning, I was too busy looking after the baby. Later on, it just did not feel right to go out and leave our child to others." She looked at Qin Yao and said, "Qin Yao, later of you get married, don't have a child too soon."

The three of them chatted a bit more and dispersed to get their job done when a few customers walked in.

Li Qin Yao stood behind the counter with her gaze on the ordering form. After making sure that there was nothing wrong with the order, Li Qin Yao stamped on the paper and signed the documents.

Just then, Mei Xuan appeared beside her with a menu folder in her hand. "Qin Yao, Qin Yao," she lowered her tone. "Look at that man."

Li Qin Yao raised her head and looked at the dining area. There are five tables occupied with customers. Two out of the tables had male patrons.

"The one at the bar."

It was then that Qin Yao noticed a man stood beside the bar, with his gaze on the coffee menu on the wall.

"What's with him?"

Mei Xuan's eyes turned sparkly. "Handsome, right? He has been coming here for three days in a row. And every time he came over, he would order for a cup of Americano and chicken sandwich for takeaway."

Qin Yao stared at the man again. He had one hand in his pants. Judging from the way he dressed up in excellent quality suits and shoes, Qin Yao could guess that he is a rich guy or someone important. It was rare to see someone who dressed like him to enter her cafe.

Suddenly, their gaze met. Qin Yao curved her lips into a smile and nodded towards him.

"What do you think?" Mei Xuan urged.

Li Qin Yao lowered her gaze and shrugged. "So-so."

Mei Xuan rolled her eyes. The man is handsome. How could she say 'so-so'? She decided not to speak to Qin Yao who can't seem to appreciate a handsome man. She turned around to grab a plate and an orange flan from the dessert counter.

At this time, Qing Kong, who was the chief barista of Cafe Lilium strolled towards them. "Boss Li." she nodded. "There's a customer who wanted to see you."

Li Qin Yao raised her head and saw the man from earlier stepped towards her. She glanced at Qing Kong and saw her nodded. Qin Yao closed the file on her hand and, smiled politely towards the man.

"You must be the owner," The man said.

She nodded. "You are?"

"My name is Wei Jun Hao," he pulled out his business card swiftly from his jacket and handed it to her.

Li Qin Yao took the card and saw that he was a lawyer from Lu & Wei. She had heard of this law firm before. The firm has an excellent reputation in Y City. Lots of rich men would look for a lawyer from Lu & Wei when they encountered any legal problems.

She was right when she thought that this man was not an ordinary man.

"Mister Wei?" Li Qin Yao shook his hand. "I'm not sure why you're looking for me?"

Wei Jun Hao let out a small laugh when he saw her expression. "I'm not here for any legal matter. You don't have to worry."

"Then… how can I help you?" asked Li Qin Yao.

"I was wondering if your cafe would be interested in catering some of the food for a small party." Wei Jun Hao spoke. He watched the girl stared at him and continued. "If you have time, we can discuss this matter now?"

"Alright," Li Qin Yao nodded. She turned to Mei Xuan and signaled her to attend the register while she talked to this potential customer. She took him to an empty seat which hidden behind a pillar.

A few seconds later, a waitress appeared carrying a cup of Americano to the table. The waitress turned to look at her boss and retreated when Li Qin Yao shook her head.

Wei Jun Hao took a sip of his coffee and looked at her hesitantly. "Miss?"

Li Qin Yao then realized that she had not introduced herself. "My name is Li Qin Yao."

"Miss Li," Jun Hao smiled. "I am planning a birthday party next Saturday. Will you be available to cater to some food?"

"It depends on the scale of this party. How many guests will you be inviting?" Li Qin Yao asked.

"It's not too big. Around twenty people?" Wei Jun Hao said.

Li Qin Yao listened to his request and finally nodded to give her agreement. The two of them discussed the matter for almost fifteen minutes. She was thankful that he was not picky about her suggestions. They immediately decided on the menu.

In the end, Li Qin Yao agreed to cater food for his birthday on the next Saturday. He gave her a budget, and she decided to email him her quotation later on.

Just when the two shook their hand, the door swung open, and a familiar figure walked in. Li Qin Yao' lips bloomed into a smile when she saw her boyfriend, Chen Hao.

Seeing the smile on her face, Wei Jun Hao raised a brow. "Your boyfriend?"

Instead of answering his question, Li Qin Yao said, "I'll send you out."

"Who was that?" Chen Hao asked with a frown as he watched the man disappeared from his vision.

"A client. He's planning a small gathering with his friends, and he wanted us to cater the food," Li Qin Yao had a smile on her face. She dragged him to sit at an empty seat. "Would you like anything to drink?"

Chen Hao shook his head. "Let's head out."

"Wait for me for a while." Li Qin Yao said before she went back to settle with a few things. Then she turned to Mei Xuan. "I'm going out with Chen Hao. I'll leave this shop for you."
