The next day...

(At the royal hall)

"This must be a dream." Eleanor started walking around in circles.

"It isn't." Leo grabbed her shoulders.

"What should I do?"

"It's simple. Give him back the red gem, so he can leave."

Eleanor then told him that Olivia was the one who told her that Albert would be the one to help them.

Leo asked, "Olivia? As in your maid...?"

"Yes, what's wrong?"

"What if she's the one behind all of this?"

"That's impossible."

"Do you love him?" Leo sighed.

"Who?"

"Cameron."

The princess looked away. "I used to."

"Eleanor, how long will it even take for you to decide?"

"I don't know, but I guess we have to bear with everything for now."

"I'm willing to wait as long as I'm with you."

"Are you trying to make my heart skip a beat?"

Leo laughed. "Why would I—"

Before he could continue, a man suddenly came and told them that flirting was unnecessary. Eleanor and Leo then looked at the direction of the voice and saw Cameron.

Eleanor's eyes widened. "You..."

Cameron chuckled. "Surprised? I could hear your conversation from my room."

"King Cameron, what do you want?" Leo asked.

"It's simple. I need to talk with this woman beside you," Cameron replied.

"There's no use in having a frivolous conversation," Eleanor stated.

"Don't make me lose my temper."

"Why should I listen to you?"

"Do you want me to tell him what happened to us then?"

"What happened?" Leo asked.

Cameron explained, "We just did—"

Before he was able to finish, Eleanor immediately grabbed his arm and dragged him towards the nearby room.

(In the guest room)

Cameron looked at the girl standing in front of him and asked her why she was so afraid of Leo knowing everything. Eleanor then shook her head.

Cameron smirked. "Then why did you drag me all the way here?"

Eleanor looked away. "No particular reason."

"Really?"

"Get to the point."

"I want to ask you about my father."

The princess started walking away. "I'm sorry, but you and I are just acquaintances."

"Stay."

Eleanor looked back. "What makes you think I'll listen to you?"

The king then hugged the princess from the back and whispered to her ear, "Tell me, Can you still get away?"

Eleanor's eyes widened. "Let go of me."

Cameron brought his face closer. "You tell me everything you know or you give me back the red gem now?"

"I met him at the village of Koral. That's it."

"How'd you end up there?"

"Do I need to tell you everything?"

"Olivia told me a part of it, so you have no choice." Cameron smiled.

Eleanor asked, "Did she also tell you about the blue gem...?"

"Yes, it's in your heart right? She told me that you were supposed to be dead if it weren't for the gem."

"Since she's told you everything, I guess I have nothing to hide."

"Go on."

The princess then explained that she was in a coma for eight months. When she woke up, she saw Olivia and met Albert, which was the head of Pali village.

"What else?" Cameron asked.

The princess sighed, "When Olivia told me that my parents have died, Albert told us that there was a way to get them back which was to combine the blue and red gem."

"My father not only lied to you about his name. He also lied to you about his true identity."

"It's all in the past. I don't mind."

"Thank you," Cameron said.

"For what?" the princess asked.

"For having time to tell me about everything."

"It's nothing."

Cameron then brought his face closer and said, "I'm going to make this clear."

"What?" Eleanor responded.

"Let's be friends."

"Do you have to be that close just to tell me that?"

The king then grabbed her waist and asked, "Why are your cheeks red?"

Eleanor lied, "It's hot."

"Then why can I hear your heart beating?"

"Don't tease me," Eleanor said as she looked away.

"It's really obvious," Cameron responded.

"What?"

"That you're attracted to me."
