The Announcement

The party will be held today and Andrea was getting ready and so as Sam and Dreb.

"this party would be great"

"I hope so too"

"lets go Dreb"

"okay"

Dreb and Sam went to the party venue together. People say they were the best couple in the party.

Andrea was driving her car and go to the party. She was nervous how to deal with the people in the party. She knows that she didn't have much friends. Except for Aly and Davis.

She was on the venue, she was wearing white long dress. That really fits to her slim body and a pair with white sandals made by her stylist.

She was on the entrance. A red carpet was on the floor and some bodyguards were outside the venue.

I called Jay to come to escort me. He came and he escort me.

"invitation please" said the bodyguards to us. Andrea  showed them the email that sent to her and tell them that Jay here is her escort.

They went inside and see how many people are here. There are bunch of people. Some of them are not really their classmates. Andrea thought it's Sam's friends.

"hi guys" Sam's greeting her friends while Andrea and Jay finding some seats.

Unfortunately, the seats were full and the only table is not full is the table of Dreb and Sam. They have no choice but to sit there.

"can we share your table?"

"sure" Dreb replied to Jay as he was saying to share the table.

Sam walked towards her table and saw Andrea was sitting there.

"oh, hi Andrea you're here"

"Hi, nice party"

"thank you"

Aly and Davis went to Andrea's direction.

"hi there Andrea. We miss you so much" Aly and Davis hugged Andrea. While Dreb was staring at her.

"I miss you too guys,by the way, this is Jay. My friend"

"your friend?" Aly and Davis were teasing Andrea.

"you guys. He's just my friend, but if it turns to more than friends. I'm sure he will happy." Andrea teased Jay and Jay laughs.

"just enjoy the party Andrea." they leave and take their seats.

Sam's sitting on their table as the EMCEE starts the program.

"Good evening ladies and gentlemen," as the emcee started Andrea was eating together with Jay. Dreb saw them eating, he feel like he's jealous.

"Dreb, here" Sam handed a food to Dreb and fed him. Andrea saw it but she looked away after it. It was quite awkward, the atmosphere was very tense. Dreb and her on the same table was no good at all.

"Enjoy the rest of the night" the emcee ended the program.

People were happy, they're enjoying it until the music starts to play.

"May I?" Jay reached Andrea hand and take her to the dance floor. They just dance through the rhythm. Dreb saw them, he feels like he's worried about Andrea. He wants to dance with Andrea. Sam grab Dreb hands and start to dance.

In the middle of this songs, its about the exchange partners. Sam go to Jay while Andrea and Dreb was being paired.

They just as the music start. They looked each other in the eyes. They looked away and accidentally Andrea stepped on Dreb's feet.

"I'm sorry"

"it's okay"

Andrea stopped dancing and back to her chair. The music stopped and Jay and the others back to their seats.

"lets now hear the announcement of Sam" the emcee called Sam to the stage.

"Good evening everyone, I'm happy that you came all here. And I have an announcement to make. Can we all rise?"

They stand as Sam told to.

"tonight, I'm making a very special announcement. May I call on Mr. Dandreb Mendoza."

Dreb walked towards the stage and stand besides Sam. Andrea can't looked because she feel the pain. She looked away and Jay noticed her. She was getting some foods and eat them.

" what are you doing? "

" I feel hungry a little bit "

" okay suit yourself. I'm gonna call my mom first."

"okay"

Andrea was all alone and didn't notice Sam's friends was on her back.  Sam make her announcement and everyone was excited to hear it.

"Okay everyone, listen up. Me and Dreb were engaged."

"wohooo" shouted by the crowd except for the girl Andrea. She was shocked what she hear and didn't notice the plate hit the floor and breaks. All attention was on her as she try to pick up the Plato she got injured. She hurt her on fingers, blood comes out.

"what are you doing Andrea? Are you trying to ruined my announcement here? Your making a scene" all the people on the party was laughing at Andrea.

Sams friends poured wine to Andrea's clothes. "what are you doing?" Andrea get angry but they're all laughing. She looks at Dreb and a tear fell out.

"You try to ruined this party? No way, we are gonna ruin you. No one dare to ruin this party Andrea"

"I'm not ruining the party I just accidentally slip the plate on my hands."

"Blah blah blah. Your making so much excuses Andrea."

Andrea's clothes turned to red as they poured the wine into her. "I didn't ruin the party. You are the one who ruined it. Your making a scene here and try to make me as the one who started this? Your one of kind. And that I knew that you are Sam's friend. All of you were just the same, you try to ruined a person's life. You are all the same. "Andrea explaining her side and Sam slapped her.

Dreb go towards them as Jay also arrived at the scene.

" stop it Sam, you're making this worst"

"oh come on Dreb, this is not my fault. It's Andrea"

"no she has nothing to do with this. If you and your friends didn't over react. This can't happen"

"Dreb why are siding her? I'm your fiance"

"Yes you are and if you try to do something like this again? I will not marry you then" Dreb leaves and Sam looks so furious. Jay got Andrea and walked to the exit. She was surprised how Dreb acted on there but she didn't forget Dreb was the one who hurt her and today? There were engaged. Andrea feel the same she felt when Dreb left her. Her heart was aching and she started to cry.

Jay stopped the car and looked on Andrea. "hey, it's not your fault. They're just giving you pain. Let them be, and don't mind them. I'm here for you no matter what happens, I'll be here"

Jay hugged Andrea, Andrea feel Jay was a great guy. He was good to Andrea and he was there when Andrea needed comfort. He stays besides Andrea even if he knew Andrea could not love him. He stays and taking care of Andrea for a long time.

He's a good friend and a loving person. Most woman want him but Andrea see him as a friend.

"I know this is not the time to asked you this but, Can I be your boyfriend?"

Andrea looked at him as he seriously said that word. She smiled and say "I can't make you my rebound Jay, you know that I can't forget about him. I'm sorry"

"I will wait. No matter what, or how long does it takes. I will wait for you Andrea."

"thank you for understanding Jay."

Jay dropped Andrea to their house and say goodbye to her. Dreb was also there and he was hurt also to see Andrea was being happy with Jay. Dreb can't take it longer, as Jay leaves he run towards  Andrea. He held her hands and faced her.

" Andrea "a voice came out to Dreb's mouth. Andrea turned her back and saw Dreb.

" what are you doing here? "

"I wanted to say sorry about what happened there"

"that's it?"

"Yes"

"it's okay, I'm fine"

Andrea was about to go inside their gate but Dreb grabbed her and hugged her. Dreb close his eyes and hugged Andrea tight. He miss Andrea so much and regret the things he do in the past. He wants to be with Andrea again but this time it's complicated.

Things are going complicated for the both of them. Both of them were having different life paths.

"Why did you hug me?"

"I'm sorry, I just missed a friend named Andrea"

"Okay I get it. And by the way, congratulations on your engagement" Andrea went inside as a tear fell out in her eyes.

"your home Andrea, what happened?" Andrea's mom noticed she was crying. She hurriedly wipe her tears.

"I'm fine mom, you don't need to be worry"

"okay. Just tale some rest"

Andrea went to her room as she lay down her bed. She was crying. Shes in pain. Her heart felt so much pain. She thinks she can't handle it.

She think she'd over with Dreb but he's not. She's into him. She still lives Dreb.

Is it love?

Or it's just sadness she feels?
