Glory Cafe

On the same afternoon. Jing Villa. City S.

"Welcome, welcome.. Oh my God! Can't believed you had decided to moved here permanantly."

Feng Meiling hugged her friend excitedly.

"You did not change at all, Jia. Still as young and pretty as before." She gushed over her friend.

"You look wonderful too, Meimei."

Then Meiling turned towards the door.

"Wow..look at you. You look very well, Li Hui. Come in..come in." She ushered them in.

They just seated at the main living room when a maid came and served them some tea.

"Thank you," Meiling said before she dismissed her.

The maid bowed and left.

"I'm glad you are here. So, tell me why you suddenly decided to moved here. Before, you said you want to stay at City P forever. So what changed?" Meiling turned to the side and looked at Ning Jia.

"Nothing changed, just Danial decided to move Li Corporation's headquarter here. He said this city had immense potential that it will become a metropolitan city in the future. So he said we should grab this opportunity and Hui agreed. He said the change of atmosphere is good too, don't you darling? Jia asked her husband, Li Hui who was sitting opposite of them.

Li Hui nodded his head.

"Yes, after all the surgery and the recuperation..I guessed I should enjoyed life more. Jacob was here and that old man Qiang also here."

Meiling nodded her head.

"That's good. We can hang out more in the future. Oh, how's your health now? Overall, you look good albeit a bit pale," she asked Li Hui.

"I'm good, thanks to Jia, whom taking care of me."

"Nah, it's all thanks to you, Meimei. You recommended the healthy and medicinal recipes. They tasted very delicious too. Speaking of the chef, could you introduced him to me? I guessed we should reward him generously," Ning Jia expectantly asked.

Just as Meiling about to answered, a young man rushed into the house.

"Mom, mom, mom..guess what? I found...eh...?"

He stopped on his track and apologized. Meiling shaked her head helplessly.

"Who's this young man?" Li Hui asked while inspected him from head to toe.

"He's my youngest son. Hong, greet your Uncle Li and Aunt Jia."

"Hello uncle, hello aunt." He greeted and slightly bowed.

"Wow, you don't look like a sickly boy anymore. I could barely recognized you. You look dashing now," Ning Jia said and smiled.

Hong shyly smiled. Then he walked towards his mother.

"I brought this for you, mom," he showed her an exquisite box filled with various desserts.

"Woww..they looked tasty. Where did you get them from?" She asked then called a maid to serve the desserts.

When the desserts were served, she picked one and took a bite.

"Hmm..this is really yummy."

Meiling indulged in the after taste and motioned to the couple to have some. Ning Jia served herself a piece of cake. She spooned and tasted.

"Wow..it's trully delicious."

She exclaimed and spooned a bit before stretching her hand across the table. She motioned her husband to has a taste which Li Hui obliged.

"Yes, it does taste good," he praised.

"What do you mean good? It's really delicious. You old man doesn't know how to appreciate great food," Ning Jia chided his husband.

Li Hui just shakes his head and gently smile.

'Wife is always right.'

Hong at the side proudly said, "See..I have a keen taste for a yummy food."

Meiling chuckled and patted his head. "Yes..yes..yes..you are. Where did you get them? The desserts tasty and the box was exquisite too. It's the first time I saw the name 'Glory Cafe'."

Hong then narrated back how he walked around the City Park and saw an advertisement banner with a catching slogan 'ONE bite, TWICE fun' with 20% discounts. The glutton him curiously followed the direction and arrived at a building not too far from the park. The cafe was doing a promotion in conjuction of the very first day it was publicly opened. He lined up and when he arrived in the cafe, he could see various desserts being displayed beautifully in the display cases. He did not know what he should choose, so in the end he bought some cream puff and cookies with the intention to savoured them when he came back at the park.

After he came out of the cafe, he took a piece of cookies and munched. He widened his eyes in disbelief as he swallowed. Before he knew it, he had eaten all of them. He was so delighted so he turned to lined up again and bought various desserts for his mother.

"Where is the cafe situated? Perhaps I can asked my son to buy it for me next time," Ning Jia inquired.

"Do you know where Glory Enterprise situated? The cafe is at the ground floor of the company. You can enter from the side door of their company lobby or from the main door. I guessed the cafe was owned by the Glory Enterprise."

When he saw them shaking their head, he just said, "Never mind then. I could buy some for you next time if you want."
