Am Not Twelve

" No offense but I seriously don't remember inviting everyone or infact anyone to my house so.... why are you all here?", Mabel asked as she couldn't ignore the fact that all this was overwhelming.

" Well you're the bride and we are your assistants", Lyra said calmly and Mabel just blinked. " Couldn't I even get a moment of peace...? I had totally forgotten about that", Mabel grumbled softly but the other girls heard it anyways and they couldn't help but chuckle.

Mabel realized she wasn't as silent as she thought she was and she felt a wave of embarrassment rush into her cheeks.

" But the wedding is like tomorrow, what's the use of being here now?", Mabel asked once more after regaining herself, Megan and her already had the night planned out.

" Well because of that", Lily Rose finally spoke and Mabel just stared at her confused, " Because of what?", she asked subconsciously and Lily Rose walked over to her carefully and put a hand on her shoulder.

" It's because of these, you're the bride but you clearly lack fashion sense and we have a lot to do tomorrow so... we came by tonight", Lily Rose voiced out and the other girls nodded in agreement.

" Girl, green and orange, you're kidding me with the colors right now but not to worry, everything is all planned out", Lina mentioned and Sylvia took out their bags and began to unpack stuff in the living room.

" Why are you all taking it that serious, it's just some made up idea by Luke... total fake wedding", Megan commented after a while of keeping mum while the other girls interacted with Mabel.

Lyra gasped and turned to Megan to glare at her but Megan just shrugged unaffectedly.

" Let's just hope the bride didn't hear any of that. Megan Nina Pierce, you have a lot of explaining to do on why you intend on bringing bad luck, a day to the wedding", Lyra said slightly shaken by the fact that Megan commented on the wedding as fake.

" It's a night to the wedding Lyra and I'm not calling it entirely fake. Infact I thought of it as a great idea and Mabel and I made plans before, so you guys showing up totally killed the mood", Megan said to have the girls stare quietly.

" What plans? What plans did we ruin?", Chloe, one of the girls in the group asked and Megan sighed deeply at her before answering honestly.

" Mabel and I were going to have a sleepover together not some Prep talk about wedding", Megan said and Mabel nodded along. " I even got ice cream prepared", Mabel spoke afterwards and everyone's gaze went to the bowl of ice cream on the dining table to find Petra, another one of the girls next to it and almost half of it were gone.

Petra laughed awkwardly before burying her face in the bowl of strawberry vanilla ice cream again.

" What makes you think we had bridal speech to give? We are not married, we know nothing", Chloe said and everyone smiled... in agreement.

" Yeah if you asked me anything about a wedding I would likely faint because I told myself am not ready to think that far yet", Lina commented and the girls chuckled at themselves while Mabel just smiled calmly.

"I haven't even decided in what I wanna go for in college, Marriage would be a total mess if I jumped into it", Lily Rose said softly and everyone stood rooted to the ground to hear her speak

She figured and smiled at them softly. " What? You thought I didn't have plans for my life and only thought about how to get Holden to fall for me, guys am not twelve".
