Rion Is Interrogating Narine
Narine was looking at Rion, but soon she looked down again. She didn’t have the courage to scream to the king like she often did to Aathreya every time she was upset.
“If you don’t want to, I won’t force you,” Rion said flatly.
Narine pouted her lips and said quietly while lowering her gaze. “The crystal is not yours, but Odette’s, and Odette has lent it to us.”
Rion put on a flat expression on his face when he heard that. The little creature’s words seemed to flick his forehead. The thing that Narine wanted to say was ‘you are claiming other people’s thing as your thing by using it to take advantage of other people. No shame!’
The owner and the pet were both annoying.
“Anwen, take her out,” Rion said flatly. He didn’t want to let go of the opportunity to seek information from Narine.
“What?! Jay can’t do that! I want to go back!” Now, Narine’s tone rose. She looked at Rion with teary eyes. The girl was on the verge of tears.
