The change from the earth life to this life was something that would take time for Aria to completely adapt to. Everything around her looked slightly outdated as though she was back in a time where machines barely existed.
Instead of traveling to the city with a car, they used carriages and horses here. There were coachmen opening doors and helping her into the carriage and when she got in, she found Silver sitting inside already. She could see from the way his foot stepped against the carriage floors that he had been waiting for a while.
"I am sorry for taking time. We were trying to tell Peila not to-" he cut her off with his hand and said, "What you do isn't my business, though I am glad that you stayed, you must understand I am not used to doing this without a set time. I have meetings and things to do later on, so if I give you a set time please try and stick to it."
