Finished reminiscing the moments of her late grandmother she did not notice that tears are rolling down on her face.
“I miss you so much Grandma” she sobbed
She remembered her grandmother’s last wishes that gave her motivation to be strong.
"Don't give up on life Antonella, trust me it will be full of surprises."
She smiled as she arose from her mattress and went to her parents' bedroom, ,and afterwards was opened by her mother.
“Sweetie you’re here” her mother welcomed her with a sweet smile.
“Mother”
"We're sorry for forcing you to return to school, please forgive us for not considering your emotions" her father said while facing Antonella with a sad smile
"Mother, Father, it's all right I just jumped into my conclusions," she said softly, touching her parents' hands.
"No, darling" her father objected, "We are still wrong for pushing you to do things you don't like and for being such an awful parents."
"Father, you and Mother are both too good parents for me; you stood up to those bullies when I was a child, you always cheer me up when things are bad, and you gave me everything" To be honest, I consider myself quite fortunate to have parents like you."
Her parents were moved by their child's comments and gave Antonella a great hug, vowing to give her everything she deserved, even though she was not their biological daughter. It didn't matter because Antonella is there child and will always be.
"We love you honey,"
“I love you too both mother and father” she replied with an energetic voice.
"So, Antonella we've finally agreed to allow you to continue homeschooling-"
Antonella paused her father and giggled.
"Parents, I've decided to return to school to a real school" she said
“But honey--
“Mother I swear I can manage I just realized that I need a new environment, I need to grow to become a better daughter and a person” she explained
Antonella's father pats her on the head.
"Bambina, you are already the best and we will always support you in your decisions" her father responds.
"Are you sure, Nella?" "I'm fine with you continuing to homeschool," her mother said anxiously.
"Don't worry mother I'll be fine promise" she hugged her mother and kissed it's cheeks.
"So, Father, when will I begin attending my classes?" she inquired
"I'll speak with the director of that school and get back to you as soon as possible"
"Oh, I see Father thank you."
After her conversation with her parents, she went to the art room and began painting. Every time she felt emptiness or joy, she would express herself through her paintings. She will wear headphones while creating her artworks so that no one can distract her.
Antonella painted and painted until her hands went numb. Her nanny called her because she hadn't realized it was already dark outside.
"Miss dinner is ready," said the nanny
Antonella was taken aback and looked at the clock beside her workstation.
"OMG, I painted for nearly 8 hours, HAHA" she exclaimed
"I'm on my way!" she said to the maid
She then goes downstairs and notices that only she will eat the supper that has been prepared on the dinner table.
"Where has everyone gone?" she asks the maid who is standing beside the table.
"Your parents were summoned for work, Miss"
"Oh, so where is my brother?"
"Sir Lyndon has gone out with Miss Lotis"
"Really, a date? I'm going to have a future sister-in-law yippeee!" she quipped
The maid just smiled and bowed its head then left.
“The manor is so quiet, jeez I should have went on my tree house if I knew they not here”
Antonella returned to her room after dinner and cleaned herself before retiring to bed. She tried to sleep but couldn't. Her phone suddenly rang...
“hmm?”
"What's up with that tone, and are you all right?" Lyndon asks
"Oh, Bro, where have you gone?" she inquired, irritably
"Relax sis, I'm with Lotis, wanna speak to her?"
“SUREEE!" she yelled, causing her brother to drop the phone.
"Will you please calm down, sis?”
"Oopsie, sorry HAHAHA!"
In a minute a beautiful voice was heard on the other line.
“Hi babygirl” Lotis greeted
“LOTIS big sis I miss you” she replied
“I miss you too girl its been awhile”
“Why are you not visiting me, you mad?”
“Sorry baby, ate is just busy in school you know college is pretty tough”
“Your studying a lot but my brother is just playing around”
“HAHAHAHAHA”
“I am not” Lyndon protested
“Big sis Lotis don’t forget to buy me chips when you visit here kay?”
“Sure I will bring you lots”
The talk went for many minutes and it made Antonella sleepy.
Hours gone by Antonella was a heavy sleeper, she snored loudly as if she was having a soothing dream.
She was awaken in a peculiar location where everything was red, like a bloody place filled with unhappy souls. She can sense how hot and unsafe that place is. She then started walking down the road, flames trailing behind her.
“Where am I? this place is creepy” she said to herself
Antonella was still in her pajamas and had no footwear on. She wandered for a long time until she came to a river that was pure and free of blood stains. She sat on the riverbank and the flames that had been following her earlier vanished
"Weird, I think I'm just hallucinating things" she tried to console herself.
A tall man in a black cape with his face hidden was staring at her. It gives Antonella creeps and shouted back at the man.
“Hey! Who are you?" she screamed
But the man did not respond; instead, he walked away, and Antonella followed.
“Wait” she ran on the riverbank until her feet were full of scratches and wounds.
The man stopped on a bridge and stared back again at Antonella. It spoke in a husky tone that made the girl speechless.
“Why are you hear? You cannot come here” the man said
Antonella tried to reply on the man’s question but no voice came out on her mouth.
“This place is forbidden for mortals, how did you get here?”
The man approached the girl still not removing its cape.
“I see you are a special child, you have a tremendous mana” smile formed on the man’s lips
Antonella cannot understand the topic the man was speaking about.
“Did you know that your life is at risks going here alone”
The girl was shocked not realizing where she was...
“I will help you go back to your world but remember my words, sooner or later your potential will grow do not let it consume you for things may will jumbled together and get complicated”
After that the man bestowed its magic to Antonella, and a while the girl was back again on her bedroom.
She woke up panting full of sweat all over her body.
