An Ning walked out of the detention center full of questions, unable to fathom an answer.
"Ningning, Dad wants to talk to you," An Jiancheng called out to her.
An Ning stared at him warily. "..."
She didn't want to say another word to her father, but thinking of the years he had silently taken care of her, she couldn't harden her heart. "I have something to tell you, too."
"Good... good." An Jiancheng's eyes trembled with emotion as he hastily opened the car.
An Ning glanced at it and got in.
As soon as An Jiancheng got in the car, he asked, "Daughter, is there anything you'd like to eat? We can go out to eat."
An Ning looked at her father like he was a stranger. "No need, I have no appetite."
"Look how thin you are, it's not good for your health," An Jiancheng hurriedly urged.
An Ning stared coldly at her father. "What do you... really want to talk about?"
