"Hazel you came out late" her mother said Hazel said " it was the dress that is soo annoying" she lift her gown which was

dark green in color that reached her feet with hair that was tied with ribbon, a pearl necklace on her neck and earrings, She walked steadily.

Her mother gave her a pointed look holding the coachman hands she entered the carriage followed by her mother and the coachman bowed his head closing the door soon they left.

Inside the carriage Noorie said " sister Hazel you look beautiful" even though she wears the coat she still look good. Hazel said " thank you, you look beautiful too" Noorie said " really" and her sister said "mmhh".

Reaching Lord Fredrick Lugard hall, the coachman stepped down to open the carriage door.

Opening the door lady Rahila was the first one to get down followed by Noorie the Hazel

The coachman closed the door and bowed his head.

Entering the hall, the maids collects their coat

Lady Rahila hold Noorie's hand while Hazel went out to the garden.

"Afternoon lady Rahila" one of the ladies greeted her, " afternoon. How have you been?". The lady said " fine. Wow you and your daughter look lovely" lady Rahlia said " thank you".

Hazel who was walking through the backside of the hall reached the garden. Stepping inside she find a chair under the tree and seat down.

Bene who finished his work went straight to the ball,removing his coat he went to where his father was. His father who was talking to sir Malcom turned to see Bene approaching where they stood.

"Good afternoon sir Malcom" Bene greeted the lord, shaking hands sir Malcom said " afternoon Bene. You came late" he smiled Bene shook his head and said " my apologies i went out for some work now before i came here. How is the journey?" Sir Malcom said " it was boring" and he laughed.

Bene who was looking for Gravile in the hall turned his head to the other side and saw lady Vivian and their dear head council. He said " excused me" and he left to go were Gravile is.

Gravile who was smiling to what lady Vivian said seeing Bene he dropped the smile. "Afternoon lady Vivian" reaching for her hand he kissed the back and drop the hand. Lady Vivian said " afternoon Bene. How is the work?".

Bene said " very good. How is the journey?"

Lady Vivian said " it was fine" Gravile was quiet and his eyes were narrowed since when Bene arrived.

Bene tapped his shoulder and left. Gravile was stunned because every time they met Bene will always pocked him with questions of Vivian.

Gravile said " where are you going?" Bene said outside to get some fresh air"Gravile gave him a nod. Bene walked away from there.

Before he went out, he met mr Oscar. He greeted him " afternoon Mr Adams Oscar" looking at the boy next to him, shaking hands mr Oscar said " afternoon Bene Lancaster".

Bene said " this must be Joe" Joe gave him a nod before he greeted him. Mr Adams said " how is the council work?" Bene said " it was fine" and they all went there way.
