Ephemeral

The sands couldn't fully remember

Where my footsteps had lead me

The impressions had always been

Washed by the ebbs of the tides;

And so I built a sandcastle.

These fortifications I strengthen

With the same sapphire waters;

But just like any fleeting daydreams,

It was carried away by the crashing seas
