3 a.m. is when my mind wanders.

Rather than scaling mountains,

Cliff diving at pristine seas,

or reminiscing memories in REM,

I find myself weaving otherwordly stories.

Slaying dragons,

Discovering other life forms,

Or even fighting zombies;

I couldn't sleep

I am lost in imagination
