Chapter two

"We are here," the old man said.

Massir got up from his seat and stood facing the green forest up ahead. It was already daylight. He handed the pebble over to the old man and got off the boat with the prince.

His wound had healed through the journey. Not taking any chances he stayed very close to the prince. The last thing that he needed was the blood of a supreme on his hands.

He walked in the forest, all his senses heightened to hear even the smallest of noise that might endanger the prince.

"You must be hungry, I can't feel or hear any danger present. There are only animals for miles to go eat," the butler said to him.

"Are you sure?" Tyrone inquired feeling so hungry he could eat a bull.

"Yes."

With the approval of the butler, he walked ahead and removed his clothes. He went down on his knees and transitioned into a werewolf. His fur was pure white with no stain or dirt on his beautiful fur.

His eyes were red and in between his eyes was a gem that glowed. He looked majestic. In one swift movement, he ran and captured a fox in between his teeth and tore his head off. The blood was everywhere but he did not mind. He feasted upon his meal slowly by slowly until he devoured the whole thing meat and bones.

When he was done with his meal, he raced back to the lake and immerse himself in the water to rid his fur of the blood of the fox he just ate.

He howled loudly causing discomfort to the animals in the woods. The animals felt the strong strength of his howl and became alert while others went into hiding.

"Are you done?" the butler asked him not liking the attention he was drawing to himself. He was unaware of the dangers that laid in that place. He was certainly not sure whether his enemies had stopped back at the Forbidden or will find a way to where they were, for that it was of utmost importance he keeps the supreme hidden.

"Yes," Tyrone replied taking his time to leave the water, the butler handed him his clothes when he was out of the water. He had his eyes looking everywhere to make sure nothing surprises him.

"Then let's move," he instructed and led him through the path the king had instructed. He was to only bring the prince here in case the prince was ever in danger. He had memories of the path by heart and was more than happy to finally have the chance to prove himself worthy of being the prince's shield against all enemies.

"Where are you taking me?" the prince asked confused as to where they were or why they were there.

"Safety," the butler replied.

They reached the road. The butler smiled in relief at how he was able to follow the plan to the fullest. He now had to get a lift and ask to be taken to the safe house. He stood by the roadside and waited for a car to pass by.

"What is the plan now?"

"We wai..." he started to say before he saw a car coming in the distance. He stuck his thumb out to ask the driver to stop for them as he was instructed.

The truck driver saw them, he slowed down the car and stopped for them. He looked at the two keenly and noticed Master's clothes were with blood.

"Are you okay sir? Do you need me to take you to the hospital?" he asked him.

"No, I just need you to take us to this address," he said handing over a paper with the house address on it before they got in. The driver didn't argue with him. He just started the car and drove in the direction of their house.

The ride was slow with the music playing on the radio. Tyrone had his eyes closed. He was in disbelief over how everything turned out. He was crowned and before he could even learn his duties or get a chance to serve his people an attempt was made on his life.

For the first time in his life, he got to see firsthand how hard it was to be the person he was born to be. Being a ruler would mean that his life would constantly be in danger and what was worse was his helplessness.

He wasn't who they all think he is, he has a secret that he keeps about his identity that the world doesn't know. His identity is so dangerous that he has never once been allowed to transform before others and he understood why.

The dangers it would pose to his life when the world realizes what he was would be uncountable. He would be the only thing that they thought about day and night. They would fight and kill each other just to have him.

"Why couldn't my fate be easy?" he asked with his eyes wide open staring at the sky. It was day hence the moon was not around to reply to him, not that it mattered when he was born of the sun as well. He was the child born of the curse of the sun and the moon.

"The harder your fate is, the stronger you will emerge in the end my prince," the butler said to him. "Don't despair. Things will get better," he added.

"My demon keeps asking to be let out. I am slowly losing control," he told to his butler. "And I fear that I want to lose control."

The butler knew not what to say to the prince to cheer him up or how to reply to his confession. The world will be doomed if he did leave his demon to roam freely. It was important that he remained in control and not his demon but the prince was only just becoming a grown man.

He had a lot to deal with since childhood and the fact that he had not exposed himself till then went to show just how strong he was.

The car stopped in front of a big mansion with guards all around. Men in black suits with guns paraded the perimeter, making sure that nothing gets through without an invite.

"Are you sure this is where you want to be?" the driver asked.

"Yes," Massir replied. He reached into his pocket and a bundle of money, he gave it to the taxi driver without bothering to count it.

He and the prince came down the car and went towards the gate entrance of the house.
