San Francisco was a far cry from Seattle. Culturally, industrially, spiritually. The city just possessed a different vibe altogether. And under normal circumstances, Carter would never be seen wondering it’s streets. But these were not ordinary circumstances. She was being blackmailed. Now Carter would be the first to admit she deserved this assignment. She just wasn’t being careful enough and this was the end result.
